It takes time and Rorys only really been pushing for a year or so with his MORR collabs. Fabrats, Layton all had channels for years but only started pushing a few years. Robby Layton is prime example. He has been pushing and collabing with as many other creators to drive the channel. He was so out of place with Heavy D and the other exaggerators but you can see that what he's aiming for. Rory has stayed true to himself and not sold out.

It impresses the heck out of me that this stuff doesn’t intimidate you guys at all … you just pull it apart, get in there, and make it right! And, the thing about this mechanical stuff is, if you have the parts, it is fixable. I think that’s what I like so much about videos like this … and your trail fixes. If only everything that went wrong in life were that way.

You weren't kidding about parts being available. Pull 1 from the rig, pull another one from the yard, a 3rd one from some guy and then frankeinstein it together and the best part is you know exactly what is broken before you even open the darn thing because its something that is fixed in the house rather than some warranty thing elsewhere on other side of the country.

Safety glasses with a wire wheel reminded me of a time I was using one to clean a metal bar. I could hear "pit pat" and felt the paint and rust hit my stomach and chest. After a few minutes I realised the wire wheel was looking skinny so I stopped. I looked down and my thick jacket had hundreds of wire bristles stuck into it. A few were through the jacket into my hoody. I wasn't wearing any face or eye protection. Haven't ever made that mistake again.
