Guys, before you do ANY of this, go to your ipad or iPhone, go to “settings,” go to “photos” and under the section of “transfer to Mac or PC” select “keep originals.” Do this FIRST. Then consider all this other mess.

This is one of the reasons why I have been staying in the Windows / Android ecosystem. Transferring files between my Windows PC and Android phone is very fast over USB 3.0 and as simple as plugging in a cable and doing a simple drag and drop. I also really like having extra storage in the form of an inexpensive SD card. There are lots of things that I like about Apple products but I shy away from them for reasons such as this.

with the free version, I just added everything I needed to download into an album and it allowed me to download the first 50 items in that album no matter the order it was taken in. Thanks for the help!

Thank you so much! Pro Tip: You don't have to download the premium version you can just make an album from your ipad or device then add the photos or videos, then you'll find it. Like yk how you can't add your older photos or videos yeah well if you make an album you can.

Thanks so much for this. Ended up getting Pro version as otherwise you can't convert to MP4 or MOV (and therefore can't use on a PC). Price has gone up to £17.99 too but it's absolutely worth it for the amount of time it saved after initially spending an hour uploading a 2 minute video!

Man are you a lifesaver, I have been trying to upload an old video I made years ago and someone has shown interest in it but is so full of me just talking and no info what so ever and with my new iPad Pro Ultra 12.9 I am finding all kinds of new problems just in simple usage. I even received my new hub for this iPad and it didn't help me and the cable that came with the iPad is just for charging there is no USB plug on the other end. If you have the latest windows update and a iphone data cable not just a charger, Your computer should recognize the ipad when u plug it in. Make sure the ipad/iphone is unlocked and hit allow when prompted

When you have to buy an app to tranfer files from IPad to Windows.. (when in reality and technically{like in android} you could just connect it through USB and just copy the files like an external USB drive) only says that Ipad and Iphone SUCKS..
