In this video, I show you how to transfer music from CDs that you may have, on to your PC/Computer and then to a USB thumb drive. Then you can play it in your Car Stereo and other Devices. NOTE; If you have ITunes, change the name of the Songs a bit. .. NOTE; Some older cars have trouble playing folders, in that case, after you format to FAT32, Delete the yellow folders and just have it as a long list of Songs. #TechwithSTONE

In Windows 10 ... How to find ...Windows Media Player... with Rip and Burn feature updated .... Click Start, Scroll down to accessories, click on it, scroll down to Windows Media Player .. Right click and add to start menu. Open it up, go to the top left and click Organize, then click Options, now you will see the Rip and Burn features. ... In Windows 11, type in search, ... ''Windows Media Player Legacy''

Been there done that. It works %100 tho. If you do this while you’re connected to the internet, you will get the information on each cd like the title and name of the artist instead of unknown artist.

THX for the video. It still seems like a lot of steps to Rip a Flash Drive. I thought I recalled seeing some sort of Free or Trial software that makes this process easier/faster. Apple's iTunes used to be very easy to select the tracks you copied (or Burned ) to your PC and drag over to the Flashdrive. Now, I believe it requires going into Apple's Cloud!

this must be an earlier version of Windows Media Player. The WMP delivered with Windows 11 does not have any way to direct the output to an external USB. It only allows you to store in a playlist within WMP

I put my CD in my computer but there isn’t unknown album in organizer.Also, there isn’t “Rip CD”.

Look for Windows Media Player Legacy, type in search, at top left corner click on more options, the rip CD will be there.

I have downloaded windows media player today 30/1/24 as it seems to have disappeared from my pc and it does not look like this at all anymore, there is no play, burn or sync on the top righthand side. i just want to copy a play list to a USB stick. there is also no rip icon on top of the taskbar. it just seems that all you can do is play. i don't know if this is an update to the player or if there is anything i can do to copy my playlist to a USB if anyone as any suggestions i would appreciate it.

Hi Clive, there are two of them, one is called just media player, the other is called Windows Media Player. In Windows 10. When you open it up, you will get a light blue screen, with an interface. Top left- Library, music, all music ...Right top-Play, Burn, Sync. Go to Start menu, scroll down the list to Windows Accessories Click on it. Another list will appear, its the 10th one, just above word pad. ..Click Organize at top left, then click options, a window will appear with the Rip feature.

Yeah Clive I just checked, open Windows Media Player. Top left, click on Organize, then click options, A Window will open up with several options, (one being Rip) hope this helped.
