I have had mine for a few years. I love it especially for inline shopping where I don't need to claim the item on my taxes.

My Wise account has been deactivated after I tried to transfer money. I understand Wise needs to verify my identity which is interesting because my passport passed the verification process to receive money and now you can't verify me when I need to send money abroad? I'm here because I can't reply to your email and I can't get into my account to upload documents. I just need to know what's going on.

Living in New Zealand here not likely to leave l, would this be a good option for online shopping overseas only? Because of the other banks exchange conversion rates. I’m not a traveler so wouldn’t use it that way. And also there is a one time fee of $14 in NZ

I assume that fee you pay when you purchase online from NZ is a tax fee for importing, so I don't think it will make a difference with this card or not, as it relies on the address, where customs will take that charge for tax.

Why is the card green instead of blue? The Transferwise app default color is blue. I'm perplexed.

It's simple marketing, people see a neon green card that stands out from any other card, they are more likely to be curious as to which provider uses it, in turn finding about TransferWise. And TransferWise knows not a single bank would dare use such a stringent card for their own, since it would look unprofessional for them.

Yes. It's a VISA debit card so useable worldwide. You need to have funds of course. The card itself is only available to a small number of countries.
