I love my cabomba. It is illegal to sell, buy, or ship in to California, so I thought I wouldn't get any. My aquarium shop takes stuff to resell and gives store credit in return, and one day, I saw cabomba in the corner of their resell plant area. I snatched up every piece available as fast as possible and am so glad I did. I keep it in high light so it grows tight and everyone comments on it.

rotala rotundifolia is the easiest rotala and limnophila sessiliflora is the easiest stem plant i've ever kept

No such thing as "beginner" plants animals etc... If you don't meet the requirements there is going to be trouble.

Well obviously. Some are far more easier than others to care for though and very accepting in wide parameters. Not much work/knowledge/cost for them to thrive. I’d call that a beginner fish/plant🤷‍♂️

Beginner plants and animals have much wider parameters they can tolerate. You can keep rice fish outside in most zones. I've seen ponds with ice on top, and the rice fish are just hanging out at the bottom having a great time. Pleco is considered invasive in a lot of areas. If you get discus and throw them in a porch pond, you aren't going to have a good time.
