thanks for the informative video . We have an unopened one of these since we are doing a kitchen renovation that's taking way longer than we anticipated. Looking forward to using this product. Do you recommend getting the panini press or warming racks? As they were not included in our model. thx

Those are pretty cool. I think the warmer has a lot more utility than the press though.

I just bought this and at first it moved up the panini press when done but now it stays closed and won’t pop up do you know the reason or any way to help?

Looks to me there heating element chamber needs to be a bit larger so you can get edge to edge browning. For that kind of asking price I'd expect nothing less than perfection! Hard pass on this one.

I have only ever seen Joe in these videos. But he always says 'our' reviews. I assume he means an editor, or his wife or something. But It makes me laugh thinking there are more than one people in Joe's head, all sharing an interest an differing opinion of various things in the kitchen. Usually Ninja related.

No, not happy with it...and that price! They are pretty pleased with themselves. All I want is a toaster that toasts evenly; it seems like that's too much to ask. I just use my countertop toaster oven (Cosori). Croissants come out steamy soft inside and a flaky crunch outside, just like fresh baked. Toast is okay, better than a toaster but not perfect. I can also ferment my bread dough and bake it in there. Plus the hub's won't let me buy another kitchen gadget of any kind, says I already have too much stuff. I disagree!

Yeah...it's definitely nuts.... I'm such a sucker for neat looking stuff, that I overlook a lot of the failings of it. Not super wise, but as long as it doesn't blow up on me, I guess it's fine.

It's good to hear about products like this, but I wouldn't touch this toaster w a ten foot pole. This is a classic candidate for enabling the wealthy to engage in conspicuos consumption. If I found this under my Christmas tree, I would return it for a refund immediatemente. The more bells and whistles, the more opportunities for mobo failures necessitating highly technical repair capability/availabilit which is unlikely to be easily available. Give me the mechanical model with manual controls which can endure the lifetime of temperature cycling to which this unit will expose them. Heat is the enemy of electronics. How long do you think it will be until we begin hearing about "peak Lithium"? Thanks for listening. ;) Best!

Yep... Remember when we could all do just fine with a refrigerator that didn't have a web browser on it, but lasted longer than 4 years? I'm a sucker for the gadgets like this, but it has to be with the understanding that bad things can happen really quickly.
