Thanks for posting. It’s crappy that even with the “fix,” the fenders still won’t stay in place when in alt mode. I read of someone shaving down the tabs on the roof that clip into the front hood. It supposedly makes it feels less scary during the transformation to alt mode. I wonder if that would take off some of the pressure on the fenders and lead to a more flush appearance.

This poor quality control is just inexcusable, Hasbro.

Put a tiny ball bearing on the back side of the rivet when you squeeze down on the joint. Hobby shops have them for adding to miniature paint to help when shaking.

I recent got mine yesterday, and the joints look flush on mine. My other fix: the usual nail polish to help stick the pegs better in place. Still be looking forward to get Pipes, Road Rage, and Galvatron in 2022. I hope my nearest store has them.

Thanks for sharing the remedy, actually I have exactly the same problem you have with the tracks in this video, but what i am doing is try to make the leg end (thigh end) tighter by adding contact glue over mushroom joint, because the leg end of mine is pretty loose as well, which is a common issue of this figure

Literally the first thing I did with my Tracks when he arrived yesterday. Robot mode is pretty much solid, vehicle mode stays together well.

You could achive basically the same thing with a hammer and a thin metal rod of sorts that would act as a buffer between the pin and the hammer

i think dipping it in freshly boiled water first is a good idea. softens the plastic so you don't need as much force to push in the pin, and the plastic is less likely to crack. when heated with boiled water you can also bend the panels inwards a little, reducing the gap in the side panels in vehicle mode.

Good video 👍 I worry your pliers are too strong. I used a flat pair and the same sorta cloth but double folded and from both sides so it's softer. That way the cloth molds to the pin and creates a more precise force with no plastic damage

I don't think Hasbro is ignoring us but with Covid they can't do things is best as they can due to lack of staff and materials.

Wouldn't it be better to use a nail or another pin and use a hammer to drive that pin deeper into the hole? This way there won't be any issue to potentially scratch or break it.

That's a good idea. Perhaps heat the pin with a soldering iron and push it in further?

Use a blow dryer to heat the plastic up then use the Vice grips with cloth. This will limit you getting a crack when pushing in the pegs.

I knew he had the loose legs on many copies. Found one at Ross for 9.99 and I got it. For that price it was hard to pass up. The legs on mine don't wobble. They are nice and tight. Atleast on my copy. The hood splitting gives me some trouble when transforming. And the lower corners of the forarms, the grey part there got a little scrape there on each one due to taking them out during transformation. That part also gives me some trouble getting them out. He is good. Not great or bad.

Possibly finely sand down the peg on the driver’s side front window. Seeing that’s what is pushing the fender out.

Use elastic band bands to pull panels tightly then steam figures until plastic is slightly pliable then dip in ice water so plastic become rodgid again.

use some sand paper to slightly sand it down to allow the gap to match

Just heat the rivet with a soldering iron and then use just about any thing to push it more.

For how much they charge for figures they should have better QC. The clear plastic also is a shame because they got to stop adding tabs to them.

I'd rather heat up the small peg it clips to and flatten it down bit more so it actually plugs in better. The pliers are sketchy and risk snapping it off at the pin. Then your kinda fuct.

I had no issues with my figure.

You’re probably better off using painter’s tape, to protect the plastic from scratches.

I did it on my Roadrage and it works. Be careful though.

The MechFansToys MS-25 Tracks, is way superior, better quality, and weighs more. Even though it's supposed to be Legends/Cyberverse size, it's closer to Deluxe size. At around $35 USD.

Never do what this guy is doing more than likely it will break or will get scratched or ruin the plastic. I'd use a small punch that fits the pin and tap it
