Here's another MTMTE comic dub!
I am not anywhere near a preview for SG 2 (sorry) but do know I'm still workin at it. I just haven't got lines well enough for even a preview yet and have alot more editing and redubbing to do (redubbing when I have time to, I need to be in a quiet area to do that)
And I know I was gonna do the mtmte part with tarn and megs but that vod also needs lines I don't have.
so I hope yall enjoy this in the meantime!

This is Transformers: More Than Meets The Eye (MTMTE). The story follows a crew of Cybertronians led by Rodimus, who go on quests in their starship, the "Lost Light".
In this video, Megatron makes a call to an old friend from the past.

@@LockeLynx if I remember right, this was current day Megatron calling past Orion Pax, and he was hinting at how around Orion's time the senate attempted to brainwash him at Messatine. The attempt was cut short, but Megatron was changed from the poetry writer he was before, into the one who start the Decepticons to eventually overthrow the senate.

If Hasbro hadn't been in such a hurry to wrap up the IDW 1.0 Verse we could have had the chance to see Megatron healing in the Functionist universe alongside Pax. And see him get broken again as the council's assasins killed his friends and attempts to make right.

This just goes to show that despite IDWs failings, they always seemed to have a good Megatron and Optimus. It is pretty sad tho this scene. He's talking to an old rival and friend, who doesn't know that, asking for advice somethings Optimus is good at unfortunately its not Optimus on the other end but, Orion. This Megs really went through so much i feel for him.

Personally, I usually would be on the side of reform over revolution. Change over tearing things down. Though in their case, they kind of have no choice now that Shockwave was changed by the government. They lost their inside man and if Orion somehow found the Matrix, neither Sentinel or Zeta would step down without a fight. So as much as I prefer Orion’s way of thinking, I have to say Cybertron already passed the point of peaceful reform. It’s just a shame that whenever the Decepticons want to return to the age of equality, in Cybertron’s case, that age was also one of conquest. If the Functionalists did only one thing right with all their religious policies of subjugation, it’s unintentionally keeping the galaxy safe from Cybertronian imperialism.

Though considering that the functionalists would eventually seek out to conquer and extinguish non-cybertronian life forms later on, it just seems that every time the planet has a civil war, its destruction would inevitably reach other corners of the galaxy regardless of who's bringing said destruction. Other planets getting caught in a cybertron-related war just seemed... inevitable, no matter what universe apparently.

@@MotorcycleCheetahit suprises me that in Post-War, the rest of the Galaxy's Population didn't try to destroy Cybertron THAT HARD, like, Everybody (maybe including humans) declares war against the Transformers, this of course, Before Unicron makes his Apperance, and make the Galaxy Tremble.

Both are needed, Megatron was needed to tear down the system, to drag it screaming and rip it apart. so Orion can rebuild something better, the old system is so lost and destroyed it can never come back, in it place a slow reform of a new world.

“Megatron. Spelled with an R.” Are…are there other ways to spell it or was this possibly a tongue-in-cheek reference to how Japan sometimes mixes it up with “L” since the franchise technically started in Japan?”

I think it's a reference to megs' name being based off "megaton" iirc

In an earlier issue. And Autobots security guard called him Megaton. He corrected her and told her that it spelled with an R. Orion as a security guard walked into the room right after that.

When Orion asked if he wants to speak to Rodimus. Who is he referring to? I don't have any contexts for this particular episode but somebody in the comments said that it has something to do with time travel. My guess would be that Megatron and Rodimus traveled back in time together. Rodimus happened to be staying at Orion's place at the time when Megatron called.

I've thought about it But with there being so many issues and different voices I can't manage all of it So I find doing sections of what I want to dub going p well. And If I've done enough I'll do a full issue (probably out of order)
