Needing outside assistance, Leo reluctantly suggests a call on his online nemesis, RoboWarrior, who resides in Flatbush. The butcher shop in which they find him serving up cuts of meat is not in Brooklyn at all, but in the heart of Philly’s Italian Market on 9th Street

@@jonathandelgado3755 Simmons has an undying loyalty to his country. He's probably proven that before in service. And despite losing his livelihood he still wouldn't rat on his nation's government. Perhaps they figured that's him and so had no issues leaving him alive despite laying him off. And look they were right. He's a patriot. But sometimes patriotism doesn't pay well i suppose.

I don't have any specific rankings lol, but Lennox and John Malkovich are cool too and they're from the live action movies. Alexis from Armada, Charlie from Bumblebee, Buster and Verity from the comics (G1 Marvel comics and IDW respectively), Marissa from G1, the Masterforce crew

Even though Simmons was somewhat of an antagonist in the first film, I found it a little nice that despite the rivalry between him, Sam and Mikaela. Sam still considered him to be a low-key friend, even Simmons was a little surprised by this. "Wait, you know this guy?" "Yeah, we're old friends."

It would have been a perfect franchise if: 1. They stopped at 3 2. Megan Fox reprised her role for TF3. After the whole 'Michael Bay touching Meg's booty scandal' it went to the shitter. I'll be the last one to say any live-action transformers movie is award worthy material, but there were some genuinely impressive filmmaking advancements pioneered by ILM for TF1 and TF2.

I've met the Simmons actor in NYC on the subway. He was just sitting down riding the train and he saw that I saw him and wow I had a fan moment. But I kept it cool and kept it moving.

It's incredible how well the ILM visual effects have held up. I rewatched TF1 the other day and that entire scene with Blackout at Qatar is still one of the most visually impressive CGI sequences in modern filmmaking. If Bay put half the effort he did making that scene into a couple of rewrites TF2 and 3 would have easily made a 70+ on Rotten Tomatoes.

Unfortunately I don't think so. Now we're in a new continuity that starts with the Bumblebee movie. It's set in a different universe, some things are similar like the existence of Sector 7 but a lot of events unfolded in a completely different way, like Bumblebee going to Earth in the 80s instead of Wolrd War 2. Characters and their aestethical designs are also drastically different, more G1-ish. Simmons might still exist in this new universe and appear in a future movie, but I doubt it.

@@Angeljin-Fq5yx Oh I’m well aware of that, I live in upstate NY and am an HVAC installer that has been in all kinds of basements, some in 100-150 year old Brownstone houses where the basement has a basement. Sorry to rant, but basement windows don’t get that much light and they don’t have bookshelves that are two stories tall. It would have to be sunset with nothing blocking the windows to do that, and that looks like the bright noon-afternoon sun.

I like how Simmons basically told Sam, Mikaela, and Leo to piss off until Sam mentioned that the Decepticons put a device in the soft tissues of his brain and projected alien symbols off of it like a freaking whole movie and that he was slowly losing his mind. I love how at first he’s pissed at seeing Sam then once Sam tells him about the symbols in his head he gets serious and it’s hyper focus from there

It just occurs to me that the Bayverse did not have as many continuity errors as people think. One can carry this scene forward to the Last Knight as conclusive proof of the Transformers being here in WW2. Note: I will fully acknowledge Cybertron getting destroyed and reappearing two movies later makes no sense. You could almost make a case of Galvatron getting rebuilt back into Megatron off screen.
