That's a nicely made tutorial, good stuff. 8:45 Personally I've always refitted the axle backwards to hold the bearing together. It doesn't seem to be an issue looking at how yours went but I've always played it safe just in case.

mrChickeneater Afraid not, it’s more involved, you’ll have to remove the drive shafts

Tried this way with the bolts unfortunately two of the original bolts went round in the head and I had to cut the heads off and so could not use your method

Mate, please wear the welding gloves when you're using the grinder like that. Just from someone who knows. That machine can hurt you.
