Hi Ajay. I went to Jaffna at January 1980 and stayed there 3 months. I stayed at Atchuvely village. I went to install some machine’s at Atchuvely industrial area. At that time I visited to Kankeshanthurai. I started my journey to Sri Lanka from Chennai airport to Colombo airport, from there the factory owner taken me in there car to Atchuvely factory guesthouse. After finishing my work at March 1980, I started train Jaffna to colombo from there Flight to Thiruchi, Thiruchi to Bangalore. There all Sri Lankan friends and peoples are all treated me very kindly and good. This is my flashback. Your all Muslim countries tour videos are all I seen very good Now Sri lank videos I expect same. Thank Ajay, god bless you.

Ajay, I want to mention here one old fact. In the years up to 1970 there use d to be a ship( called steamer, because it runs on steam) named SS.RAJULA owned by Scindia Steamship Company, Bombay. This ship sailed between Madras / Nagapattinam and Malaya-Singapore. In THE HINDU newspaper they used to publish this ship’s sailing dates, embarkation time etc regularly every week or fortnight,I don’t remember. My father’s cousin and family were living in Colombo. During British rule Ceylon travel did not need visa I think. They took the Boat Mail from Egmore to Dhanushkodi, then by ship to Jaffna, and again by train to Colombo.

YES, THE SS RAJULA SHIP WAS FAMOUS THOSE DAYS. MANY INDIANS LIVING IN MALAYSIA USED THIS SHIP. STILL THIS NAME IS FAMOUS AMONG THE OLD PEOPLE HERE IN MALAYSIA. INFACT THESE PEOPLE CALL FLIGHT AS KAPPAL ONLY.😂

Yes this SS Rajula used to Ply from Madras-Singapore route. My Uncle went to Singapore from Madras Port in 1962. I vaguely remember Our family members (all 10-12 or so) as in those days went to send him off..and returned back home in two Standard-10 taxi.of those days..

Super Ferry vlog. Of course North East Monsoon likely to commence from 23rd Oct. Hence these ferry services may not run during this Monsoon period. You have rightly said that Fare price of Rs7670/ is rather high. People will prefer to go by flight to Colombo. Special thanks Ajay for this ferry service vlog.
