Luxor is a city on the east bank of the Nile River in southern Egypt. It's on the site of ancient Thebes, the pharaohs’ capital at the height of their power, during the 16th-11th centuries B.C. Today's city surrounds 2 huge, surviving ancient monuments: graceful Luxor Temple and Karnak Temple, a mile north. The royal tombs of the Valley of the Kings and the Valley of the Queens are on the river’s west bank.

Thanks for these videos. You have stimulated my interest to visit Egypt and Factually speaking our kings also built their pallipadais in a grand way later on that was destructed by other dynasty kings and foreign invaders. Whereas in Egypt it was totally a one nation even in ancient times so after Egyptians when they were ruled by Greeks and ptolemies and romans they too adapted Egyptian style plus their own so there is no need to destroy their ancient kings tombs also even the Greeks , ptolemies romans may not know where exactly the tomb was since most of them were brought back after 18 and 19 th century. If you read the Thiruparankundram inscription you may understand how the pallipadais would be destroyed by Pandyas or later during Malik kafur invasion.

Ajay, the Egyptians use the term TEMPLE to denote a place of worship just like Hindus. In 3000 BC times long before Christianity and Islam were born, a local religion was there in Egypt that had similarities with Hindu worships. Regarding VALLEY OF KINGS, we can get a lot of background information by viewing the DVD named “Valley of Kings”. Ajay, tomb is pronounced TOOMB. The language script of ancient Egypt was full of figures of animals, birds, reptiles, men, women, sun, moon, stars, mountains, trees, flowers, etc. This way their script had similarities to the Indus Valley sites excavated at Mohenjodaro and Harappa.
