Today the country of Vietnam has developed well and is an industrial country too producing electric items and textiles to offer great competition to India, Srilanka and Bangla Desh. Today if you walk into any cloth or garment shop in US, Canada or the western countries in Europe, you will see 9 out of 10 items made in either India, Bangla Desh, Pakistan, Srilanka, Cambodia or Vietnam. As far as US is concerned. I did not come across any textile item made in US. In the last seven plus years I lived in US, not a single US made cloth item has come to my notice. All the garments I or my wife bought for our use, all made in Srilanka, Bangla Desh, India or Vietnam.
