5/10/19 Intro Video - Transitioning from a Cirrus SR22 to a Aviat Husky A1-B TailWheel! Welcome to my channel and thank you for watching!
All kinds of fun videos flying around the Northeast!
I am located in Oxford CT and Manhattan and fly all over the Northeast and video the flights. Many of these video were simply created to keep a record of my flying as I transitioned from a Cirrus SR22 to a Husky A-1 - essentially going from a powerful nose wheel gear plane, to a powerful tail wheel plane! The two planes compliment each other extremely well and each have their own mission. I am no videographer, but have enjoyed learning imovie, and now Final Cut Pro as I make the videos better and better.

Previous SR22 owner now interested in a husky. Please compare the two as far as flight characteristics and difficulty. Obviously cirrus is faster , more for distance and getting used to a tail dragger will take some time. Thanks Doug

I'm down to either the Maule M7 or Aviat Husky for next purchase. One is tandem other is side-by-side. Curious on your choice criteria for the Husky and experience flying tandem.

Love the Husky - have not flown the Maule but hear good things - I think if you get on any forum AOPA, FLYHUSKY.com etc and ask the question, you will get both answers. The Husky is a seriously overbuilt machine and all the Husky owners I know LOVE the plane - but again, cant speak to the Maule. Also, Tandem is great and space is plenty - wife likes it, but also liked the Cirrus so it may be preference - I think the pricing is difference between both machines right?

@@TailWheelsRock Thanks for the insight. Pricing is different but there are some common intersections on pricing for used models, depending on previous owner upgrades and TT. I leaning heavily towards the husky, beautiful machine.

@@TailWheelsRock Michael, Im good friends with Raj and have flown both.. you can contact me through Raj as well.. I will be able to give you some perspective of each having flown both. I ended up choosing the Husky, but my needs might be different.
