I'm not sure why your fuel gauge won't work. Your might have wiring issue. There is a possibility that rear wheel sensors cabling and fuel tank cabling are in same wiring harness

That would work for sure, because by changing axles you're changing tone rings as well as they are pressed onto CV knuckle. In my case I didn't want to increase the cost by buying new axles. Bottom line, yes , changing the axles will definitely sort the issue All the best 👍🙂

Have you cleared codes with obd diagnostic tool? You'll have to run full diagnostic on abs system. There is probably a failure elswhere as well. There are four wheel sensors and abs tone rings, esp module under central console, rpm sensor, steering wheel positioning sensor and more plus all the harnesses and connectors. Try to run live data for individual sensors to try to spot anomaly I hope it helps All the best👍

Tone ring? That parts disintegrates after some years. The tone ring has a magnetic strip that spins and allows the sensors to track wheel speed.

Check wiring, it's odd that both front wheel sensors would fail in same time, but it's not excluded to be sensors

How did you rest it

Sounds same. Plug in obd reader check for codes and run life data stream on wheel speeds. The wheel that is showing 0mph speed has faulty sensor or tone ring. All the best 👍

Did/Does is change out of 1st gear? Mines won't.

Hi, it is strange to still be in limp mode after old codes were cleared and no new codes showing. Did you try to read live data, such as speed of each wheel compared to vehicle speed

Could be an axle or your gas paddle

@@nick-ip6le you might be too get the car to someone who can read transmission codes. Transmission ecu uses wheel speed sensors to determine vehicle speed, so tone rings and wheel speed sensors have to be good. Also there are sensors on transmission box that could be faulty but not every obd reader can pick that up

It is abs sensor, it is different for each wheel

You'll have to run diagnostics first, there are few more sensors around the car that are part of that system

This version does not have ABS option. Make sure to order version which has ABS option. The scanner used in the video is elite version which is different from the one shown in the link.

Gonna go argue with mechanic today just went into limp mode again.

Wtf. See that's my thing I don't trust no one I just seen this video , but I just bought a conductor plate yesterday I'm going to put that in a few days in the morning and now I'm thinking I've got the codes for the wheel speed sensors it might just be that. But I don't trust mechanics cause I'm afraid they will lie and tell me it's a transmission and try charge me thousands or try to steal my good transmission to sell and put a junk used transmission back in.
