its crazy how the autobots have less than 20 members in each film but they still manage to kill off 200+ decepticons in dark of the moon and its said that the autobots are weaker than decepticons

Here's my theory: Jolt was a part of the 3rd wave of autobots along with que and dino, he received his whip from que, he later separate with them after he got the distress signal, he meet up with the other bots, ratchet told him to stay behind to make sure there weren't any more decepticons

You know Jolt was one for those characters with a really cool concept and designs that didn't get much attention or care and I hope that Jolt will come back in the rebut with ether the same or similar design to ROTF and get the screen time he deserves.

The reason Jolt doesn't use his electrify ability on the battle field is because Autobots consider taking parts from dead or enemy bots as cannibalism of sorts and in jetfires case, they know they have his permission and it's the only way Optimus can fight with flight

At 11:50, although not possible (and might unreasonable), I think it went that way: Jolt went to the wrong road at the highway while he was with the other autobots, who were going to save Sam as a backup team. thus Jolt went to the other city/town instead attend the forest battle. But he soon found the way to the NEST base

Day Trader makes me wonder if there's a class of bots designed to track down cybertronian scrap for recycling purposes.

Idea: The reason why Jolt probably appears so randomly is the fact that maybe his pod to earth was sent off course, meaning he had to take extra time to find his way back to earth. When the decepticons made a GIANT announcement on earth, he finally found the place he needed to go and decided to go to earth, landing at a Car Factory. He finds the Blue car, scans it, and immediately drives to assist the autobots in their battle. He was meant to arrive with the Wave 2 autobots, but was sent off course via Asteroid in the Asteroid Belt. Also, a theory for Transformers 3 that I have is that before Sideswipe, Bumblebee, and Dino were used for top secret missions, I would think that he would go off on his own to scavenge for leftover transformium incase the autobots needed extra parts.

Jolt is the most forgotten character in bayverse Rotf blowpipe: hold my energon

Wow, my friend gave me a backstory on Jolt last night! Coincidence? Heres my friends theory (I havent watched the video yet): Ratchet saw the constant need to build super soldiers, but was in constant rival with Lifeline (Autobot Psychiatrist). She gets pissed off at Ratchet for using sparks from fallen Autobots to awaken his soldiers, but theres a visual problem with them: They arent battle ready, and soon during a heavy battle, all but one are dead. The one left, being assaulted by Shockwave would be Jolt, and Ratchet would immediately retreat Jolt to medbay for repairs. Jolt had a problem, which woild be the fact that he would occasionally overcharge on energon as it would never deplete from his body, and when he reached his limit he would irridate an extremely powerful magnetic field and shock everything witthin it, causing utter destruction. Lifeline wouldnt even bother talking to Ratchet due to him allowing him to let this mistake live, but Ratchet thought the opposite. He built a device that would allow Jolt to somewhat control his energon levels and output excess energon into whips Ironhide had built for a seprate bot that was now deceased. Millions of years later when he had arrived on Earth, Jolt was confused as to what to do, where to go, and in general do stuff on the new planet. His Energon regulator had also been slightly damaged, causing some of the energon output to move off to his microprocessor in his head, therefore giving him a somewhat mentally disabledmind, therefore stopping him from functioning at the best he could. Eventually, Jolt would discover the new Hybrid Chevy Volt and scan it, and its features would not only provide armor but repair his energon regulator. After some time he would finally lesrn Optimus and the other Autobots location and rendevouz with them. After of course the events of rotf (we know what happens there), Jolt upgrades himself along with Bee, Sideswipe, Optimus, and the other upgraded Autobots with MechTech features. When Shockwave was mentioned by Optimus, Jolt had remembered what the cycloptic monster did to him millions of yesrs before. When they had reached Chicago later in the movie, Jolt was with the Wreckers, but was accidentily left behind there to fight Shockwave. Jolt had lasted a bit and did some danage to Shockwave, including messing up his reaction timing (explaining how he didnt react fast enough to Optimus about to attack him), but Shockwave eventually shot Jolts right arm off and decaptitated him.

I’m not going to lie, I completely forgot this character existed in the first place. RIP Jolt, your ability needed more love

Jolt being apart of an ancient race of Cybertronians sounds like an interesting theory and would explain his capabilities of using electricity as a way to combine things together.

It's ironic I remember as a kid having a jolt toy and I played with it but I think I lost it and now all I have is the head

I tend to agree with your theories but this one seems a little messy. I like the origin you gave Jolt but I have a different theory for his arrival and fate. I believe that Jolt landed on Earth a bit after the Shanghai event which is why in they said that the Arcee triplets and Sideswipe responded to Primes call in the first movie. My theory of why he wasn't in the forest battle is because he was going through training. As for his fate, I don't think that the head in the junkyard was Jolt, they look too different. I think that after being in contact with the Fallen again after years, he either got spooked and left Earth, or in a more heroic turn, he remembered his comrades and left Earth to go find them

I love Jolt, he was my first transformer toy. I remember reading that Jolt was doing nurse job mostly because Ratchet thought that he was too agressive and Jolt could help him healing others

5:18 I’m not going to lie he was my second favorite if not tied with my favorite bay verse boy even tho he didn’t have much to show for it but now on topic yea jolt seems to be the most overpowers bay verse bot.

I think it is possible that Jolt’s disappearance in Revenge of the Fallen during the forest battle scenes could be due to him being sent to Sam’s school to attempt to prevent as many human civilian casualties as he could. As for the head in Transformers TLK, if it is Jolt’s head, it is entirely possible that Cemetery Wind hunted Jolt down and had Lockdown finish him off, then sent his remains to KSI, where Joshua Joyce would then give Jolt’s head and a few other dead Cybertronian heads to Kade Yeager when he went on the run.

After all these years, they finally made him a proper toy.

Tbh I’m not sure if Jolt had “godlike powers” Ratchet treated it like a medical procedure with Jolt more or less being a Nurse. I assume more autobots than just Jolt are trained in Part Transplant. It must be a common Cybertronian medical procedure since even Jetfire wanted Optimus to undergo it. The reason it was made into a big deal is because Jetfire is a seeker so this is more than just a “transplant” due to how powerful his seeker body is.

Chances Jolt never died as him missing the battle as that he is powerful and weak Jolt can kill bots but his body is weak and there were many blue bots Shockwave would crush the head and not leave it Jolt could have been hiding from the KSI as his transformium would make them overpowered so jolt is still maybe hiding 2nd theory Jolt sacrificed himself to not let his transformium fall into ksi And also that Jolt left the squad to stall the incoming decepticons as Megatron asked for backup so more decepticons were coming

Trans I have a new series idea and the name would be "What if" I have some interesting questions like "What if the fallen killed optimus prime in the final battle" "What if sentinel prime never betrayed the autobots" "What if Megatron was still stronger in tf3" I am not forcing you but of you wish you can do it

I actually think the reason Jolt disappeared from the forest scene and reappeared back at N.E.S.T. was because after regrouping with the other Autobots, he went back to Diego Garcia (I'm not sure how but I'm also not sure how the Autobots went from Diego Garcia to the US so it's anyone's guess but anyways) and N.E.S.T. registered him into their system, also why they didn't question him when Optimus was dropped off at the base.
