Yeah. If you listen carefully to their dialogue in some episodes they throw in a bit of ad lib; one time they start talking about their favourite radio station!

Just wow.. I so remember the music, and I don't know if it was the late hour (unlike y'all in the UK, we got all of them a year later, 4 to 6 episodes at a time, but after midnight, generally, because of the cost of prime time programming, plus there wasn't a big audience here to pay for earlier programming.. And that music.. all the way through Pertwee, and a lot of Tom Baker (that helped smooth out the regeneraion isues ..

New Who is unwatchable garbage. Uncompelling plots, forced dialogue, overacted to cover for these flaws.

@@fjccommish Yes, I cannot stand the supposedly epic monologues which are all about 'being kind' and how 'love is not an emotion'. These do not hold a candle to the Pertwee monologue to Jo Grant about the meaning of life in The Time Monster. Classic Who at its best used monologues to complement plot ideas and themes. Nuwho uses monologues to cover for a lack of a plot.

The Guardian reminds me a little of Moloch from Blakes 7. Maybe they were both related!

moloch was an uncle of the guardian.... he was the guardians dads older brother...... moloch was hairy and a cyclops... but .... yes.... the guardian and moloch are family.
