Yeah, if they know they ain't gonna be a good parent or just don't want kids in general, don't force them. My dad was barely a part of my life. That's his choice, he was neglectful of me as a baby (leaving me in unchanged diapers and physically abusing my older sister, etc.) so I'd rather him not be by me in any way.

You want my body my choice, then accept it in totality. When we divorce, it's my body, my choice not to work, and if I'm not working you can't force me to work to pay alimony. Jailing me because I don't pay alimony is removing my bodily autonomy. So, if we are going this route, I'm not playing, when you get bodily autonomy, but you don't let me have the same.

This is something (to a degree) that I’ve thought about for a while. It makes me super sad to see so many single parents out there. To those who still manage to raise their child alone, I salute 🫡 you. But on the other hand there are so many ways to NOT have children should you not be ready to be a parent in any capacity. It’s unfortunate that sex has become so streamlined, especially with teens and young adults. It’s ok to have sex but I feel like being protected or even better: being selective of who you decide to have sex with, would make things a lot easier on most people

They don't have to NOT have children, they just need to not be committed to the act of having sex and not being together. The reason for this is because many in society decided that the concept of marriage and traditional values were not what they wanted and adopted dating culture and modern ideals. People will be people, but back in the day, sometimes when people messed up, they knew how society would judge them, how family would judge them, and then they thought twice about either A-Abandoning children or B-Having kids out of wedlock to begin with. It was also more honorable and talked about as honorable to be a virgin both male and female. I'm from inner city New York, I know what it's like to be a kid in the hood, kids are 12, 13 talking about sex and how they want to have sex with this girl or that girl and some actually doing it. This is common in such environments. The concept of shotgun weddings was a thing too, oh you knocked up somebodies daughter? that mean if you get caught, you getting dragged to be married and you taking care of your responsibilities and many men did, ain't no running. You guys get mad about or sad about the things going on in society, but you think the fix is new manmade concepts like all the contraceptives we created instead of the behaviors and fixing of the culture causing the issues. We right now, have tons of birth control and such, as you mentioned and still millions upon millions of babies are being aborted and single motherhood has increased among ALL communities of people. Why do you think that is? it's a coincidence it just started to increase when people stopped honoring virginity, marriage, abstinence, the sexual revolution and feminist took off and so on? No, it ain't a coincidence. You want a healthy home, want a healthy relationship, do it God's way.

personally i believe in some cases its better for the father to leave, as if they arent ready to have a kid they might end up doing more damage by staying and trying to do their own thing at the same time or by taking it out on the kid; ik that people usually dont want an absent father to come back after a long time but i would at least not blame them for leaving in the first place

I’m the friend in the hoodie. So I have no female friends really just two who are exactly the same and brutally honest 🤣 I remember I got choked one night by this guy him forcing me to kiss him and my friend was like “ Hannah you’re not stupid so why the hell were you even smoking and drinking around him?” I was HURT. She was 1000% correct. I had no business even being there it was my choice. After that I stop doing stupid shit like hanging around risky or aggressive people.
