TRASH TO TREASURE! | RISKING 500$ FOR VALUABLE ANTIQUE BOTTLES!!!
Digging in a 100 year old dump to find valuable antique bottles! We rented an excavator at the cost of almost 500$ risking that amount of money to find valuable antique bottles is a bit crazy but were confident that we will find enough to pay for the rental cost! It was an amazing day with lots of history saved! Our "Clear Gold" obsession is apparent! As a treasure hunter this is the kind of hunt most bottle diggers only dream of! Bottle digging has never been more fun! Im turning EA into a bottle guy from metal detecting! Between the 2 of us we have saved a ton of American history and had multiple once in a lifetime hunts this year!

I would set up a board with 1/4 " pipes sticking up manifolded together and place the bottles on that. Then attach a pressure washer to the manifold. Just a few seconds to wash out the insides, then spray down the outsides with the pressure washer. Have a couple of old dish washers to put them in and they should clean up just fine. My friend did that to clean out bottles for his home brew. Worked just fine.

Any defense, Naval construction history near your location? 2" steel plate? I leave slicks behind, and reinter them, except where they were covered by a truckload of branches. That was a dump from the hospital & manufacturing dispensary, 1935-67 location. Found the Cochrane & Co., Belfast here. Belfast ginger ale co. was in S.F. too, I bought a Hutch of theirs to go with the can I found.I found a can within a can in a high desert trash pile "Belfast Orange Drink since 1877" a good bright painted 12 oz. can. This was in 2015 near Washoe lake. My friend, a relic hunter called them "Stuffers". The high desert, where the cans that are our "Rust layer" are still all there. Ginger ale is said to be invented in Belfast, Ireland around 1800.

I hit up my honey hole today. Its The third time that ive been there. Its in Alabama. I drove 16 houra round trip on a gamble that paid off. Its that far for me, after I moved to FL. This time I brought my 12 yo daughter. She kicked my butt in digging bottles. The first 30 minutes on site, she comes up to me and says "dad, is this a good one"? It was a SS Coke. "Oh yeah it is". The next bottle she showed me was a 1 pint Sniders dairy milk bottle from Selma, AL. I can't find anything on the milk. Have you seen any of those?
