For further context, you guys know the Barrett 50 cal and the M2 Browning Heavy Machine Gun? Those fire .50 BMG rounds, aka 12.7x99 mm. That shit is typically used for Anti Materiel purposes, aka shooting at vehicles's engine blocks, shooting at/through infrastructure or hardware, shooting at mines to blow them up etc., and it's so strong that shooting it at a single person is considered overkill and a waste of a bullet so people are told to go for double or triple kills. Elephant guns are often made in a caliber called .700 Nitro Express, which is 17.8x89 mm. Despite being a bit shorter, it's *noticeably* thicker, thus has more powder in the casing to burn, thus it is pushed out with much more energy, and since it's a much bigger bullet it'll do quite a bit of damage. That is what humans use against elephants nowadays. Even with a glock you're not doing shit to an elephant.

Watching trash taste has actually become one of the most consistent things in my life. When it first started I was just starting high school and covid was essentially at its peak. Now, I’m getting off of work at 12 am after a 10 hour shift to lay down and watch trash taste. To me that’s something really special, especially since I turn 18 in about 30 mins lol. Guess I’m just reminiscing lol. Through all the ups and downs week after week trash taste was always, thank you boys ❤

I began to wonder how the heck did Pete and Chris become friends in the first place with them being such opposites, but Chris has an interesting way of making friends the exact opposite of himself. Whereas Chris is more calculated and cautious, it seems, Connor, Pete, Natsuki and Ryotoro are more boisterous and outgoing. Chris keeps introducing us to new, fascinating people and I'm always eager to see what new friend he's dragged in 😅

I'm actually so caught up on the bocchi take, like I liked that show because of how relatable she is, and how accurately they portrayed social anxiety from an inside perspective (not just how other people see it). I know the boys talk out of their ass with a lot of things and its funny most of the time, but claiming to know about a mental disorder you don't experience doesn't sit super well. I don't want to be all negative and rant-y though so other than that, it was a great year! keep up the fun content!!

Trash Taste Special Idea: Bois try and speedrun their way through top 10 temples in Tokyo. Each temple is 10 points and they have sidequests on the way. Budget of 5000 yen for travel and have to do as much as they can in 6 hours. Boy with most points at the finishline - Senouji - wins the Trash Taste Win. Maybe special guest Mudan?

This is probably gonna be buried in the comments but. Seeing all the new patreon content is basically what after dark is but now paywalled. It reminds of the recent Watcher drama, which they actually did smarter than them because they never announced it like the Watcher, they just said After Dark is basically dead. So not a lot of people actually knew it. After the recent teaser on new patreon content, I was thinking of paying for it, but seeing what it is and how most of it are just what after dark used to be left a bad taste in my mouth. My mood towards this episode also took a beating.
