Wow it looked amazing where you were!! I would love to go camping I keep looking for disabled friendly ways so I don't suffer with pain... I'll have to try glamping, lol 😊 Grady does know each version of Little Women is totally different tho right, kept it in quarantine was so funny!! My hubby's not one for films like that either but I sometimes catch him watching it with me!! It looked ever do pretty!! I really enjoyed this video...really need to get out into nature!!!

Oh I feel like Ive been on holiday ! The quarantine of Little Women, made me laugh my socks off. I love that book so much, Ive watched all the films, and I still cry everytime. Thanks to Coop too, with his final closing sentence. Another great video, thank you xxx

You’re adorable and have such an amazing style and I feel like we’d be fast friends! I really hope I don’t offend you by saying this but I gotta tell you I had to laugh that you went out to this beautiful place but you drew objects in your bag and not the landscape! 😆 Ive been know to spend way too much time thoughtfully packing art supplies (or buying some while I’m on a trip) and never actually pull them out to use them so I’m glad to see you actually art outside! You’re better than me!

Well Ashley the is a good point!!!! The main reason is because I'm not a landscape artist - I've never really enjoyed drawing/painting the landscape. I have sketched plants/weeds at our campground but I just find that over the years I return to a few main subjects: still-life, objects, birds, and figure. But that is a really funny observation and you don't offend me at all with that comment!

Aww yay we're back in the air stream. First I really liked that snap button pencil box you packed-- I'll have to keep an eye out for something similar. Also how funny is Grady sabotaging the Little Women viewing? :D I hope you break out the gouache in part 2 -- I'd like to see how you use those paints at the campsite.

A Wonderful Sheep yes, Grady’s a stinker!! In part 2 a do break out the gouache (I think). The snap pencil box was free from a local art store. It’s gotten a lot of use!

Sandals aren’t ideal but I have foot issues and haven’t been able to wear regular shoes in years!!

Immediately clicked as soon as I saw the notification :) I thoroughly enjoy listening to you as I do my own art 🖤 ps. Erasers you should try are sakura sumo grip and the general kneaded eraser. Also, have you tried caran d'ache regular colored pencils?

I have the generals kneaded but I’ve not tried the other one - I’ll check it out - thank you! And, no, I haven’t tried the color pencils - you recommend them???

Sandi Hester The sumo grip is my best ones for removing pencil without affecting the integrity of the paper I find! And I never tried! I was wondering if you did (but now I know you don't), because I wanted to see their performance in action by an artist I trust a lot :) I wanted to incorporate them into my watercolor pieces. I have tried their watercolor pencils, and I think with the smallest set offered, you can ahieve a lot! I definitely want to try their neocolor II in the futur for sure!

Oh, just realized what you were asking - he does some - but he REALLY likes to just be snoozing inside - his breed doesn't do good with the heat and I think he liked the break from the cats :)

This made me laugh so hard! It’s a little bug that lays eggs in you and creates and itchy sore 😳. They’re so small you can’t even see them!

@Melissa, sorry to disappoint you hon, but we have "chiggers" in Australia. The drought has killed them off in our area for now, but they're terrible itchy!
