For the demonstration the battery 🔋 pack was left installed which illuminates green LEDs. These LEDs should be ignored because they only illuminate after the battery 🔋 is installed which is the last step so don’t expect to see them until that time.

These instructions worked well for me. I'd like to know how the travel got so far out of whack, door was opening 1/4, but it works now. Remember to watch your noggin' while setting the up travel, that the door doesn't hit you or the rip cord strangles you.

Make sure your wires are correct! I accidently wired the wall button in with the green sensor and the red sensor into the wall button connection on the power head, it caused the red sensor to flash red, and the wall button powered on but would not work. Save yourself 1 hour of troubleshooting.

What happens if you cannot set the Open and close limit successfully? I have a Genie Stealth and it seems to perform contact reverse for 4 inches at every interval of the close limit. Frustrating that the manual does not tell us how to troubleshoot for problems.

The buttons do not make contact with motor head.

The reverse contact test doesn't work on my new SilentMax 750 3/4 HP Belt Drive Garage Door Opener. On rare occasion it will reverse if the 2x3 is on it's side (2.5 inches vs 1.5 inches). I adjusted the up/down limits twice, force levels from 1 to 9, no help. Also, which is more sensitive, 1 or 9?

What does it mean when the LED lights on the safety beam are blinking? Both are.

@geniecompany i did this and now garage door doesn't want to roll back up it only goes up a few inches!! am i missing a step

I have a solid large red lead (steady) and not operating motor … it just sound like click but no movement … is there some hard reset ?

My late maternal grandfather USED to have Genie garage door in the forms of a remote control and an electric motorized opener. It was at his old house somewhere in California. I'm NOT revealing the real name of the location.

My brand new opener completes the set up and cycles and then it goes red solid long led, any thoughts? Nothing is obstructing and I checked the wires they are not damaged

I just picked this model up today and wired everything and set to go but I'm having trouble programming it.i get to program it to move up with the remote for the car but I try to hit the other button to go reverse and go down but it doesn't.ivecakready programmed it go down to it's limit in my garage.what the hell am I doing wrong? Car remote does not work to go in reverse to go down but it will go up with hitting the top button on the remote.and what button is the reverse anyways? Theirs 3 buttons on the remote but no labeled.i just hit the top button on and it goes up do so I know its for the up button.thanx in advance if someone can help me out🙏🏼

I installed this door opener on a different gate/garage door type. The garage door is open but the genie think it is close and same when the garage door is close the genie think it is open. The unit is working fine, it is just that I installed on a different type of door. Is there a way to invert the "position detector"? any way of telling the genei motor that "this position is open and this is close"?

My up button doesnt even work and i just bought this unit 🙃, so cant even adjust nor set the up limits.

I’m having pure hell with my Genie. I put in a new MachForce 2 horse and it would not keep the travel distance programs. Each time I opened the door it would stop an inch lower on each open and then it would close too far on each open. I had to reprogram it every day. I took it down and returned it and bought another one and installed it. After about the second day it has started doing the same thing. I have tried to get in touch with someone at Genie and keep getting put on hold. You have any ideas???

I just installed the Genie 2055. It seems a little slow when opening up. 15 second to fully open and 10 seconds to close. Is that normal?

My set button seem not work after adjust the down limit I pressed set button but the blue light is still flashing then turned to red

Force control (step 3) isn't working for me. The lights aren't coming on either. The light on the switch is on. And steps 1 & 2 I can do.

Is there a manual force adjustment
