If you havn't got a pillbox or your stuff is too big for it, check out the storage section of a DIY or craft store: there's nearly always a range of small plastic boxes for organising bits.

Also, thrift stores and/or rummage sales are great places to find jewelry-friendly pouches, bags, etc. Those department stores "free with purchase" bags are often brand new! 😊

For chained items (or if you're daring, earrings, too) you can also use Glad Press'n'Seal. Arrange like you did on the scarf and seal around the inside and outside of the chain (or around the circumference of the earrings, making a little "pocket"), roll 'em up once they're sealed and now airport security can see your goodies if they need to nose thru your carry-on. :)
