Travel Vlog: IV Studio, Brink and …Tattoos?!

I had the opportunity to visit IV Studio last week! And it was SO much fun!!!
We got to try our hands at the next upcoming game from them called BRINK! It’s a worker placement game full of negotiation, bartering and backstabbing!
And I fell in LOVE with it!

The IV Peoples are amazing. Leaving your kids is never easy. Had to go to Detroit last week and my 20m old came out and gave me a big hug that morning and I cried because I realized she doesn’t know I’m coming back😭

Looks like an amazing trip! I didn't know people actually flew out of New Haven, hahaha. Brink is soooo fun, and a wonderful addition to IVs collection of games. Fits right into the Moonrakers universe. Look forward to seeing the gameplay video.

Rolling with the big dawgs now. Congrats on the trip to the developer studio! Brink sounds very interesting, continuing the IV Studio streak of quality, quality games. Deception and negotiation are always selling points for me. The human element really make these types of games interesting. And love these vlogs. Keep them going!

IV folks are fabulous! Thanks for sharing your experience. Leaving the kiddos can be rough, for sure, but you need to have fun too. 🥰 KS starter campaign is live July 2 ... most likely at 10am CDT.

Carly, I really enjoy your content. I went back to the start of your channel and watched your intro and Q&A and I have a question for you. Even from your first video, you come across as a seasoned KZfaq pro, both in production quality and comfort in front of the camera. Do you have other channels in addition to this one where you honed your skills? Or perhaps you have a video production background? Keep up the great work!

Aw thank you!!! And no this is my first go at content creation! (Although I did love Acting when I was younger, so I think that helps me feel more comfortable in front of a camera hahaha!)

Nice Carly, I am glad you were able to hang out with Alex, Meg, Dani, Grant, and of course Austin he is a cool guy. Brink sounds very much like a worker placement Moonrakers. Hard pass for me. I don't like my success in the game being dictated by others' opinions. Negotiation is not my cup o tea. Also, tats? WHY?! This is something I have never understood. I am glad you were able to go and see IV studios.
