I "struggle" with multi-dimensional patterns -Anything not flat! I've lost count of how many projects have hit recycling! I just made one of these! I love it! Great tutorial and thank you for also including the step by step I would give you 5 thumbs up!

I followed your pattern & video and seem to have a narrower top half where the zipper is than the base of the bag. Is it supposed to be like that?

It’s kind of become a roof like shape with the zipper edge being the narrowest. Amazing pattern and video though its probably user error as im new to this.

Hi im new to sewing and this will be my first ever project and id prefer to use interfacing. How much interfacing would i need? Do i cut it too?

For this project you'll need about 1/4 yard of interfacing. I use fusible interfacing and cut it to fit the project. You can see the photo tutorial on the blog and that might better help you see how the project is put together. www.sewsimplehome.com/2023/08/boxed-bag-pattern.html
