I've just visited Montreal for the first time thanks to your video, and specifically went to Schwartz, went to Notre Dame, that Desjardins mall, hiked up Mont Royal until I could see the Leonard Cohen mural and even sought and found the Triple Butt sculpture, thanks to you @mehditation! Thanks for inspiring with this life channel as well as your electrical one!

I went to Montreal last year in the spring! It's such a beautiful city! And yes, it is VERY cold. Even in March were were freezing and had to take the subway or the malls to get around. We even found a cute cat cafe on Saint David (I think it was David... you were on it when you were talking about your french) to get away from all the snow

Great video, Montreal is a beautiful city. Sadly what I remember most about my trip there was driving, as a teenager, before map apps and having to use a paper map for the first time...bit stressful. Roundabouts are great though and need to be used more, lots there, very few in TO.

I was born in Montreal and now living in Quebec. It's very cool and so funny to see Montreal through your eyes. Maybe you should think to start a new channel! Would be great to do the same kind of vlog in Vancouver. As you said, it's pretty expensive to travel across Canada and many canadians don't know their country. By the way, your french is not so bad! Easy to understand with subtitles :) Your train will pass not so far from my home so, please, don't touch anything around you until you get out of the train :) Have a nice trip with your familly.

This was a fun little tour of Montreal. I'm from Vancouver and also found the idea that Mount Royal is a mountain a bit of an exaggeration.

Now I'll just keep seeing Anthony Bourdain on that building, there's no going back... xD Montreal looks very different in the quarantine, it's kinda nice to see it as it normally is when it's sunny, busy and bustling. I love that city, it still feels like home, even though I live an hour out of the city now, in the Richelieu valley (which you can see sort of in the back at 9:38! At least you can see our tiny valley mountains!). There are so many things to see in and around, lots of parks, lots of wonderful food in unassuming places, a very diverse crowd, not so unlike Vancouver/Richmond! Just way, way cheaper rent, and less bubble tea, which is a bummer... lol

I was born and raised in Northern Maine and I remember taking a cultural field trip to Montreal back in 83 or 84. I remember a beautiful city and Nice people. Main memory is the Salvador Dali exhibit at the museum.
