Hmmm the Norway Russian border is open but has strict restrictions and likely would no longer work for you. also Russia has put up restrictions and you might have a problem with them. /// Latvia has two border crossings open with restrictions.../// if you can make it to Minsk, Belarus you should be able to find a way to Russia

What are the strict restrictions on the Norway Russia border? It seems like a good option for visiting Murmansk.

The issue with Minsk is that you are not allowed to cross between Belarus and Russia border unless you have Belarussian or Russian citizenship.

I'd definitely say Viking Line is better than Eckerö... I travel every month between Tallinn and Helsinki. The Viking Club has VERY frequent discounts!

@@Igorinrussia Well i got this from russian sources, and i m sure you are aware of that civil activist and opposition politicians are rare breed in todays russia. Over all i dont understand what you trying to say, that west have something do with that russian goverment locks up their own people?

@@kasperiization There are even more political prisoners in the United States and Europe, while the United States is the world leader in the number of prisoners, more than in China . There are secret prisons like Guantanamo Bay.
