It is fantastic, how beautiful and clean everything is in Moscow. I call this a real culture. I was visiting the USA and couldn't believe how dirty the metro stations in NY city was, how much trash on the streets of NY city and how many homeless people on the sidewalks. Very scary and depressing.

you may laugh, but Moscow is not considered such a clean city in Russia. Now I live in Moscow and it does not seem to me such a clean city (I mean the central areas, despite the fact that, of course, it is relatively clean there) compared to St. Petersburg, where I lived, and it is even cleaner there. But the residents of St. Petersburg themselves do not view it as so clean, lol. I was in Minsk (the capital of Belarus) - I was amazed at how clean the streets there were compared to St. Petersburg, I would say sterile. Of course, in Russia there are also the opposite examples of regional cities, some of which are quite dirty. But having visited different cities, I definitely do not consider Moscow in the top of the cleanest Russian cities.
