As you know, John is a huge railfan and former railway employee. He has been taking videos of trains for a long time. He recently had his collection of 8 mm Film (with sound) digitized by a professional processor. The results weren't as good as he had hoped. However, I (James, aka Skeena Pacific) am remastering the digitized videos and hope you find the results satisfactory. This film includes a Great Northern 2-6-2 and Southern Pacific GS4 "Daylight" 4449. Film of SP4449 is actually over two, separate trips in 1980. The first half was chasing the 4449 in the Wenatchee, Washington area and the second half was chasing her on the Stampede Pass line east of Stampede Pass as the Pass wasn’t being used at that time.
