In Amman, we visited the Roman Theatre and The Citadel, seeing ruins and artifacts/artefacts from prehistory to the 15th century. Amman is one of the oldest continually inhabited cities on the planet and The Citadel, in the city centre, has the proof from Iron and Bronze age dwellings, neolithic tiled floors, Mosques and Churches from different periods and Roman ruins like the Temple of Hercules. While in Amman, these are must-do attractions along with the Jordan Archaeological Museum located inside the Citadel. Being a history nerd, this was fabulous to see! #worldcruise #amman #ammanjordan #jordan #ruins #archaeology #travel #jordantourism #jordantravel

It is unbelievable to see such old artifacts dating back so long. We enjoyed seeing all the ruins in the city. The Jordan Archaeological Museum looks like a fascinating place to explore too. I had no idea Amman dated back soooo long ago. Thanks for sharing this ancient city with us!

I had no idea Amman was so old and was absolutely in history-nerd heaven! This is why I do KZfaq - I can relive things and remember details I've forgotten and Amman is one of those places. The artifacts in that museum were astounding! Thanks so much for watching, hope you are both well.

The story of how getting the ice cream was more about show than ice cream made me giggle. Really looks like an amazing place to see!

The ice cream was such a great show...he pretends he's handing it to you to pull it back, turns it upside down like he's dropping it. So cute. This place was incredible and I had no idea what to expect. It was a wonderful surprise! Thanks so much for watching.

I wish we could have met too....my sister and I have decided we all need to meet in Colorado since Steve and I just had a couple days there and it wasn't enough! So I'll get in touch before we do that and we'll plan to meet.
