Jesus never risked losing out on heaven because he was God manifested in flesh, he came in the likeness of sinful flesh but without sin. Because God and Jesus Christ are one in the same, satan was going to be defeated regardless. Jesus came in the likeness of sinful flesh for sin. He came to die for our sins so that we might have life to the tree of life (Jesus is that tree). Also remember Jesus said, No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.
