He’s like a proto-Chris Stapleton. A lot of similarities in their voices. Chris Stapleton I think has curated his voice a bit more where as Travis Tritt just sounds like he’s singing in his normal singing voice. I have a great appreciation for them both

They’d have to change a few things if it was a movie. They’d have to build a truck stop in Johnson City Tn or change towns one. Probably be better to change towns since it is a longways to Richmond from Johnson City rolling up on 95 indeed. As a matter of fact you could take any route east and come to Richmond before you’d hit 95. So shorten that up just a little bit anyhow.

Same. Had a 72 splint bumper with a 6" cowl, 400, 750 holly double pumper, old school slapper bars, 3 speed, and a 4:10 rear...Did not make much horse power, but was a solid high 12 car that demanded a lot of attention to drive. Miss it.

I honestly wish more country today was still like this. I remember back in 2003 when I went to Country Thunder and he was there and did this song, it was just plain awesome. I'm happy he is part of the country I grew up listening to. Travis Tritt, Vince Gill, Garth Brooks, George Strait, Collin Raye, Mark Chestnut, the list goes on. I was born in 1991, and grew up with this type of great country music.

JFeezy Oh, people do fear progress. They fear allowing people to exercise their 2nd Amendment rights. They fear when people exercise their 1st Amendment rights to free speech. They fear when states exercise their 10th Amendment rights. We call these people "sheeple".

Man I live 50 or so miles from Johnson City. Go there to Smiths Harley Davidson. Lived and rode bikes in Richmond in the 80's.. Man memories good and bad. Father died in Richmond Va hospital in 84' Some times weren't to far from this song. It was a hulluva ride.

In my younger days, four of my classmates, met at Crossroads, me having two Vodka 26 oz. ,, they picked me up, felt like a Queen, all settled in front seat. Feeling greatful, looked back, saw Police (RCMP), and said" Police". My friend said " No problem, can't enter my Land", said "what", he starts driving, all of a sudden, he swerves across the ditch, to a field, and parks in his dads back yard. Felt like a "Bonnie", that day😂

As for the woman playing the robber, here's a bit of trivia : Billy Bob Thornton isn’t the only one making a guest appearance in Travis Tritt ’s upcoming video, “Modern Day Bonnie and Clyde.” Tritt also has cast Melanie Wright as an extra. “Her high spirits and enthusiasm are inspiring,” he says of the 18-year-old former dancer currently suffering from ovarian cancer. Wright’s appearance in the clip comes as the result of cooperation between CMT, the Make-A-Wish Foundation, the Pollack Music Group, Sony Music Nashville and Tritt himself. “It was truly my pleasure to make this dream come true for her,” Tritt says. “She and her family stayed most of the day, and we loved having them.” Shooting was to take place Tuesday and Thursday (Dec. 11 and 13) on the edge of the Mojave Desert in California.
