Bassist should have been so much more well-known in rock, but then again that could be said of New Model Army too. I wish he had stayed a lot longer.

That rhythm section is next level greatness. Amazing band. The post-punk chicken dancing in the audience is awesome.

Saw this on Friday and it was all we could talk about all weekend. Don't know how long it took to get the record but it was played to death that year. Smalltown England summed up the dump I grew up in. Green and the grey made me think again

Pick lol. Class band, the bass is really the driver in most of their tunes.

They're still one of the finest bands to ever grace a stage. Fantastic performance, and remember watching it live on TV and being blown away with the bass line and the fans.

The NMA's first years, the best. It sounds like a impossible mix of The Gang of four with The Southern Death Cult. anarchist gothpunk

Stu is one of the best bass players I've heard. Loved this band, music was so much better in the 80s.

Aah! Brings back fond memories, moshing at gigs (what are they now?!). One of my fave bands from the 80s. Love 'em still now, some 40 years later. Still remember the words. Brilliant lyrics & guitar/bass riffs. NMA were very much underestimated. Wish I could've got to see them. Love 'em! They still rock!🤘🏻🎸😘
