I started watching Bringing Up Bates one year ago and within 3 months I had watched all of the episodes and I don't even normally watch television. I was so moved by this precious family with their religious values and nineteen beautiful children. I try to follow all of them on social media as I honestly feel like they are part of my family now, too. I enjoyed watching Katie grow up, go to cosmetology school and even learn to fly an airplane! She's so accomplished! I was so excited when she started talking about a young, talented man she met from New Jersey! They are a wonderful couple and seem to be equally yoked in so many ways. I watched the wedding of Trace, then Nathan and now Katie’s. I cried when I saw the sisters crying. I shed tears thinking about my late sister’s wedding and how I also cried knowing that change is inevitable. I am not married but I always thought my sister would be my maid of honour if I ever got married. I’m touched when I see weddings where sisters are the bridesmaids bc it’s such a blessing to share the big day with them beside you.
