a nice little thing i have on some boats that like to launch up into the wind like that: -use a tilt sensor and connect to a microcontroller, pass throttle from the helm through that controller before it goes to ECU -in the microcontroller, multiply throttle with: clamp (1.25 - TILT * 5 , 0 , 1) this reduces throttle automatically when the tilt sensor detects the bow pointing up, the more it's pointing up the more it reduces your throttle the numbers are just an example and can be tweaked of course: the first value (here 1.25) gives you a "deadzone" so it only cuts throttle once a certain tilt is reached (in this case when TILT > 0.05 so 18° pitch) the 2nd value (here 5) changes how agressively throttle is reduced and this also reduces the deadzone (in this case throttle decreases linearly from 100% at 18° pitch to 0% at 90° pitch)

Only need the center of the net over hopper, the fish are dropped from it. Also possible to let the net clip slighttly into the hopper and empty nets into it.

i don't know how many times i've been launched by the wind. long narrow boats fair better against the wind, i've found.

I'm curious, in the last episode, you connected the big fuel tanks to your regular tank, is that necessary? Does it have to interfere with your fuel gauge? Edit: also would it be possible to add extending booms for the nets where 1 part of the net extends and retracts and the other one doesn't so you can get a bigger net while shrinking it down for unloading??
