I remember the good ol' days when the decked out Platinum 4x4 with $90 aluminum shocks and various other high quality upgrades was $100 cheaper than this 2WD.

This is great for folks that dont want to build a slash drag car. $500 to me thats steep. I use the proline transmission HD traxxas axles, Tekin RX8 with 4.5. I give it a 7, you did a great job reviewing it. I hit that BELL. I do like how the diff just pops out.

Great video bro! Still have my old Mid-motor slash from the early 2000's...May have to re-build it for No-Prep Drag Racing. Bravo brother!

The 29T pinion will be faster the whole run in a comparison against the 22t pinion. The only negative will be motor heat. The tubbed out bed over the rear wheels will be a big issue if those tires aren’t belted.. Better tape it

I just had to tell you that this video is probably the best overview of the new Drag Slash that I’ve seen on the Tube.....I’m leaning toward buying this RC as soon as my bride gets over my latest addition to my RC stable the Arrma Felony... lol Thank You for your contribution to our hobby......👊🏻👍🏻😎☮️out

No seriously, I have been asking Traxxas for serious racing parts for as long as I can remember!!! This is a step in the right direction!!! Okay, so I want all 6 colorways!!!!! But seriously, its a SLASH L.C.G. and it is seriously BEAUTIFUL!!!!!! But there's way to much competition already on the market. So I will wait for a while to see where this price tag, ends up...

I think at least they should have covered the front upper chassis the way team associated did with their chassis. It looks almost like a section is missing, hope some other company can capitalize on it, it will make a much better looking chassis for real...so come on people who will be the first

So in drag race mode it still has TSM off throttle? Wouldn’t that still correct on its own when “pedaling” / letting off the throttle?

If you're on the throttle side of neutral on Drag Race Mode, there's no TSM. TSM only comes on when you're on the brakes--not if you're just going from a higher throttle position to a lower throttle position.

Bassicly a 2wd slash with new tires, body and tsm boom 500$. Comes with bad shocks and all the 2wd design falws. The car should be durable because its obviously not a basher. The price is just wrong
