Get something that suits your bash spot and you enjoy the look and feel of. I have had a couple opportunities to pick up a X-maxx, but jist can't bring myself to do it. I went with a tr-mt10e over it this last purchase lol. Keep up the videos man, you do great work and are honest.

I have to ask, why would you do a comparative video if you haven't run the Traxxas Xmaxx? Why not run them both and then make a good comparison.

I have two XMAXX bodies on my Cen XT they fit fine man. No trimming at all

The Xmaxx handles bad..Gas and break it just to make a semi sharp turn and still roll over half the time..I drove a few and I didn't like it beside the way it soaked up the bumps..I'm going with the CEN

bad esc, and The servo died after 2 battery packs. and The handling is a nightmare. x maxx sucks

Try a new one now, they are much faster and more reliable. Traxxas has fixed the issues you faced with the X-Maxx 8s, now the esc is reliable and has the full expected amps and power. The version 2 or V2 in its first sales had tons of issues, but most have been rectified and are not a problem now. Spray the chassis down with WD-40 in order to make the plastic more flexible and this beast can take massive jumps still not break an A-arm. Mine has mind blowing speed and I can’t control the power, so yours was a defect, or at least that’s what I have to believe. I have to bash mine at 75% power, otherwise it’s too much power to handle.

i like the colossus much more! traxass are over done in looks way over priced ! you by a e revo and compair it the kraton its a joke! i like castle power but it ends there! im sure the xmax is durable but once rc's get that big of course they will be durable as components are beefy ect but 1/8 scale and down traxxas is junk! just my opinion ! cant wait to see your opinion gary of xmax! im sure you will enjoy bashing it!! ✌Glenn

Proline makes the Ford Raptor body for the X Maxx. No need for the Colossus body. If anyone needs a body custom painted let me know.
