It's cool to see someone else doing what I did with my son when he was that age. Had to use an EMaxx with custom snow chains and diff spools but my son loved it.....and I didn't have to pull him! That was 12yrs ago, time flies man. Word of advice - take as many pics/vids of your kids as possible because one day they're sitting on your lap steering your truck in a field and what seems like a minute later they're driving around making ya worry every second (racing MX with him and seeing him clearing 100ft+ triples doesn't bother me a bit, but when he leaves in his truck I'm worried til he gets home lol). Having daughters is just indescribably fun (I've had more makeovers than I care to admit). Being a father is bittersweet, cherish every second.....sorry, haven't seen my kids in a week.

I do that with my two dogs in their stroller their chihuahuas and I use my red cat ridge Rock that's got the motor on axle and yep it pulls them around the whole complex. I bet the kids are having a blast

What an amazing idea !!!! I am still laughing !!! I am thrilled with my XMAXX - This is my fourth (and final?) Traxxas monster truck, but who knows? I sold my Stampede and Hoss. I now have this incredible XMAXX and my WIDE MAXX !!! PERFECTION !!! Nice job and great idea !!!!

Nice video man great times w the xmaxx. I use mine almost every weekend to pull around my 2yrd old girls around in a all terrain-tire radio flyer wagon. That and the losi srr are the most fun toys to pull kids around and have a blast. ... that is -until i get my hands on a losi dbxl E 2.0... then my collection will b complete

Hey ! Hey ! I just went out to the orv park today , took my xmax , wow !! That place is a giant Mudd pit , I found a little spot way back at the North end , somebody made a ramp in the dirt , pretty cool for the x Max , real good revine to go in and out of , had blast

@@FivoNine 45° a few times this week , back in that northeast corner of the park is something good places , I've got this Kraton 8s , I'm taking out there this week , I've been paying in a couple new toys , and both will be in my firm handhold this weekend !! The losi mtl and a Arrma notorious , it's like Christmas and yes I'm still a child at 62 😃🤣😂😁😀

Wife just bought me an Arrma Grnite 3s BLX for Christmas. BUTTTT man this is a great excuse for me to get the X maxx I wanted instead! I won't have to pull the daughter now. She'll be able to sled all on her own. LOL!!

Awesome video and for sure a fun family day. Wish we would get enough snow for this here. Does that Xmaxx still have the stock esc? Seems like the newer 8S V2 models doesn't have that much problems with that compared to the older 8S older 6S versions

Thank you, I think both are good, the Maxx is just a smaller version of xmaxx, and xmaxx is my favorite basher. Kraton is pretty cool too, I think you can't go wrong with either 😊

Happy new year man! That looks so fun! 😝😝 I wish my XMAXX was not out of commission. The shock started to leak, and the pinion is not staying on. The worst part, is that my screwdriver head that fits the set screw, just stays still, while the handle spins. Oof. Nappy new year! I’m sure we will get lots of great content in the new year from you! See you next year!

Try some traxxas ones. They seem good if you don’t wanna switch the connectors. If you wanna switch to IC5, then go with gens ace or spektrum. Venom also makes good batteries, and they have with a boat load of connectors to go with any truck you use! A charger would be the traxxas charger if you are going with traxxas batteries, a protek charger is good, skyRC makes good ones, and spektrum probably had the most advanced line up with storage charge mode and telemetry on the transmitter. There are many, but it really comes down to how much you wanna spend, and what you need (like connectors, how many milliamps, how many cells, hi ow many you want to charge, etc...)

@@bigandcoolrcschool294 Thanks for the info. I went with the Traxxas live and Traxxas batteries. Just got the truck yesterday and took it out today. Not even through the first charge the servo gears stripped. I took it apart and its the first gear. Dam you'd think for $1330 they'd put metal gears in it. I'm not to happy. I'll be calling them in the morning. With that said it is a beast, and lots of fun.

@@rrshoeing oh yah. It is a beast. I broke my shock cap as well on the first run or two. Traxxas has a reputation and they need to keep it. This is not the way. I contacted them, and they are sending me replacement ones, so at least their support is good. Hope your issue gets resolved. My servo is a little twitchy. The first time I turned it on, it was SUPER twitchy. I may contact them about that as well. Anyways, going with the traxxas live was a good choice. You get to keep the connectors on it. Unlike mine! I switched to IC5. I have it in all my cars and in all my vids, so I didn’t wanna buy more batteries.
