And with the revised version I expect similar results. I really hope they make real changes. A 2mm lexan body, real belted tires not slicks. And that remote is problematic. They been running that same remote for decades. It's like they not even trying. I have 9 Traxxas cars and I remain optimistic that actual change is coming. No one buys the fastest car in the world to bash around in it. They need to consider that hobbyist are going to run this car to get the advertised speed on the box. They need to plan for that.

@@MatrixRC nope they didn't all they did was give the same body new colors put a hole in the body left the front aero on and gave a different rear spoiler other than that it's still the same car under the body arrma has a new limitless v2 coming out !!!!!

I take it back upgraded to some of the 2022 upgrade parts steel bell crank and the new wing and diffuse and put arrma dboot goons and it made the car a million times better gonna also do gpm steering stabilizer and all aluminum steering linkage

My buddy is one of the top fastest speed runners guys in the world and is sponsored by the prestigious company Castle Creations. I see him use a leaf blower on a car in our summer months and I was surprised. It apparently works out to keep the motor not cold but warm and not hot. You want the medium on esc, motor and batteries. Lowers the electrical internal resistance.

Yea. I exhausted every option to prove this is 100mph out the box stock. And it just isn't without making that change. Traxxas knows this. Hopefully, they make real tires that will not Balloon and put speed tires on this car forreal.

I had 100 if my batteries were charged fully? I still reached 100 twice. Humph whatever, I already knew what to do it was obvious from day one. For the sake of exploration and experimentation I needed to exhuast every option before doing so to see the limits of this premium car built on a budget. This hopefully makes it very clear to anyone who wants to know what they would encounter if trying to get the advertised speeds. In addition, I hope 🙏 Traxxas sees the exhausted 😩 efforts put in to validate the fastest car in rtr stock. Please Traxxas make some high speed tires for your fastest car in the world. That would go a long way and boost customer experience.

@@MatrixRC well in that case it goes for all companies. It’s not just Traxxas that prints that on the release cars/trucks. It meant to advertise it is capable of reaching that speed out the box. Traxxas was the first to but out a car that can reach a speed of 00 mph. Over a decade ago. So without been bias I say it’s a damn go car. Now others decided to follow so it makes the hobby even greater. Any how good job brother👊🏽.

Facts. I tried hitting 70+mph on my Traxxas ERevo 2.0 and those tires blew out and was unstable. I think Traxxas needs to state on their box aftermarket tires are needed to achieve desired speeds and stability. Factory tires are for bashing only. 😁👍🏽💯

@@MatrixRC The tires on my Hoss blew out within the first few packs. On the flip side my TRX4 has been almost bulletproof. Luck of the draw i guess.

Place a set of BSR foams tires on there and voila 100mph. Doesn't matter what type you get as long as it's not tires that balloon. And for a clean straight run. I should a whole series on this car to point out that these are the common issues that most XO-1 owners encounter when trying to speed run it. Slick tires are not ideal for speed runs it's better for drag racing. And even then the stock tires are poorly constructed from what I hear and belt breaks easily under heavy throttle. You can't drive it hard like your Arrma Infraction.

Or that but that's a cop out. Put tire on the thing and claim 100mph. Same as they provided the speed pinion and front lip spoiler. Tires should have already been on there. I just showed everyone how to set it up. Final piece to the puzzle was tires.
