That sound effect when the player goes into the next level reminds me of the starting part of the first 2.2 sneak peak. And what a nice game, really proud of you, colon! :)

Cool video! I love 'victory lap' easy endings too, and it worked well for me in this game. I think they also work because it gives anticipation that the the level's about to be over, so it lets you have some space to get excited about beating it while still being engaged with the controls, instead of all your focus being on some difficult inputs

appreciate this since i went through the five stages of grief during the 30 minutes it took to beat the game

You should give a subtle hint to the player at 10:00 because they'll definitely be stuck on that part

(context at 7:29) You can actually go on the edge of the block, since the spike hitbox isn't big enough. Then you can jump to the other side.

This game is sick! Played it until level 6 till I gave up but I might try and beat this game again. And the fact that you made this for Loafee is incredible. Great job :D

This is unbelievably awesome that you made this for a friend. Very much shows of how nice and wholesome you are to them to celebrate their birthday. I have found it on your community post and gave it a shot on my pc. But I only got to level three because of how much lag it couldn't handle on my computer. lol. But dude, really. This is purely awesome that you and other people on the side of making this to give the person a special gift for their birthday and to also show of what you can do of making an actual game. It also truly shows of how much care you have for them to make this. Thank you for showing me the rest of the game Colon. I enjoyed every single bit of it. Tried it on mobile and its kinda buggy and gave up at level 4. But that doesn't make it a trash game, its a good game with visible effort and work and I absolutely love the theme and everything about the game. Especially the icons I saw on level 10. I appreciate the work you put on the game, good work keep it up :).

Okay, this game *NEEDS* A LEVEL EDITOR! There are so many more things that could be done! Like, I saw that you can basically cancel a dash by holding in the opposite direction you're going after it starts, but the game never used that as a gimmick anywhere in any level, so it'd be super sick to see a custom level use that to it's advantage. Also, people could try making levels based on other demons with a level editor. I really hope Colon adds this one day! 🙏 Also regarding that part at the end of the last level, sticky keys can go - itself.

For the end of slaughterhouse, you basically did a bloodlust 99%. You make it through the hard level, and you die at the easiest part at the very end. *I like it*

Level 4 took me forever to slove what the yellow things were. At the end of level 3, I thought I had to jump on the wall, since there was no other way to cross (or so I though...). Thanks GD Colonge for a good game!

i played the game and i really liked it but i gotta say that a lot of the times it's hard to tell which stuff will appear when you shifts (especially in level 9) and sometimes i tried jumping and dashin right after landing and it wouldn't let me dash other than that it's a pretty fun game. i specially like the last level (even if it's really hard)

haha totally not a celeste inspired idea but it'd be really cool to add some more particles while you are walking and some extra particles on the foreground for some atmospheric effects

So i tried it on mobile, and i gotta say the controls were buggy, most of the time if u just jump or touch the controls it will act like im holding on it which makes controls unresponsive, just something i thought u need to fix Anyways this looks like a cool project gg :)
