Haha. Freaking hate her dumb far left politics, but I love how the second she puts back on the weight (possibly a side effect of her hysterectomy) the media tears her apart. That being said, there's nothing "perfectly normal" about being overweight/ most likely obese: To everyone who has forgotten that one of the best things that you can do is to maintain a healthy natural weight with a good diet and regular exercise, you need guidance and support, not scorn and cruelty.

@@T--xk3hf She's not far left, she's a liberal, it's time you people learn the difference. And as much as I wouldn't want to be overweight myself and have gone through pretty extreme measures to avoid it, it is in fact 'normal', as in, inside the bell curve and not an outlier, for American women, so it's only physiological it somewhat gets represented on the screen and the stage. What adults need, with regards to their bodies, is not for you, unless your their doctor, to say.

I'm sorry but Stephen Fry uses an atrocious fake russian accent to portray someone from Poland. He talks in a very soft singalong way typical for russian and french. Polish is so much more harsh sounding.

@@wuf1979Bei der Auswahl von Schauspielern wird ja zum Beispiel darauf geachtet, verschiedene Hautfarben und Herkünfte zu haben. Beispiel Bradley Cooper, der eine Prothese gewählt hat um Leonard Bernstein zu verkörpern und stark kritisiert wurde. Leider steht im Vordergrund dass die Schauspieler möglichst divers sind , nicht das Talent. Zu historisch ungenauen Darstellungen, wie z.B. in Bridgerton, folgen schon Verwirrungen, da gab es mal einen Bericht Im Guardian, weil die Leute wirklich denken es war so. Im Theater läuft es besser. Hier gibt es ja schon immer russische Sopranistinnen, koreanische Tenöre, die Italiener spielen etc. Aber sie sind eben alle durch ihr Können und nicht aufgrund anderer Merkmale an diese Stelle gekommen.

Is this appropriation? Fry, although someone with Jewish roots is about as British as they come, he is an icon in the U.K. I find the mock Polish accent very hard to get past.

They were offered a homeland in 1947 (they were just Arabs then) their neighbors told them to not take it, in fact, told them to flee. In 2005, Gaza was given to them, and their leaders murdered their political rivals, stole the money and moved to Qatar and built tunnels instead of schools. In October of 2024, they attacked and kidnapped and murdered mostly civilians. Their leadership hid amongst their people instead of trying to find a solution. And if you think I only support Israel, you are deeply wrong. But Palestine has leaders who have no interest in peace, and Israel has the means to disproportionally respond. Both are so wrong and right, we live in a sad world. Both Hamas and Netanyahu have to go.
