Treating Ourselves! (Lucchese New Boot Goofin Nashville)

Күн бұрынIn this episode of Wandering Wagners we headed South to Tennessee and stopped at Nashville! We stayed at the Nashville KOA Resort just north of downtown. This resort campground is very expensive but it has great amenities and it is very close to the city.
We were joined by our friends @FollowingtheFitchs , and @AlliChuckAdventures !
We had a great time exploring the city and listening to so many great live bands and eating great food! We checked something off our bucket list by going to @lucchese and buying new boots to wear around town! They are handmade and made in the USA and we LOVE them!
I made some amazing Philly Cheese Steaks for everyone and they were seasoned to perfection with @grillaholics6290 and got rave reviews.
We also got to enjoy the resorts amenities of their pool and hot tub! I got to show off a brand new bikini from Doll Swimwear and it is the most expensive bikini i own and it is also one of the best made ones and it is beautiful and fits amazingly!
We had an amazing time and we love visiting Nashville, but if you visit, break open your checkbook!
We head further East into Tennessee for our next trip so stay tuned on next Monday!

Yes. I got a pair of Lucchese last time I was in San Antonio and I think they ran me $1,000 plus. Got the weathered model. Was able to wear them with no break in needed. Glad I did! Love them! Just got a waggle for my dog and glad I did for the peace of mind.

We have visited downtown Nashville several times. We have always parked at the Nissan Stadium for free and walked across the bridge. It has always worked well.

There are a few areas you can park cheap or free but if you don't want to walk that far then the lots are there. We'd walk but others we were with have health issues so we choose to park closer and pay.

What a fun trip (except the blowout on drive home). Riding the bikes at night was way too much fun!!! We WILL have to do another Nashville trip in the future. Those cheese steaks were so amazing. I want the recipe. 😁🧀🥩

Not really a recipe... I cut up ribeye steak, peppers and onions and season with grillaholics SPG+Butter and grill. Add cheese and bun. Done!

we were just in Nashville end of July and stayed at the KOA. Pool was closed while we were there. The shuttle service is nice especially if you want to have some cocktails. We were on the other end of the campground and spent $60'ish a night full hookup. We spent a crap ton of money. The jump on/off tour deal is nice to use as well to get around and see things and learn about the city.

We were there end of July/early August as well. Mike prefers to drive everywhere and he never drinks when we are out. We do love the big fancy sites, we like to splurge occasionally haha Sounds like you guys had a great time!!

Wow!!! Awesome you guys where here in Nashvegas!! Would have loved to have known when you guys where coming as I’d love to show you around. Nashville is awesome and I’m glad you enjoyed the city I call home as much as I do! Lu cheese Boot is Awesome!! I have two pair of boots from there and actually the pair Mike got, I had pre-ordered mine and got the same pair!! Love these boots as as Mike said, they are the best quality boots he every bought! That is one of our favorite campgrounds. Love it. We will be there for 2 weeks in October. Have fun. We have a Diesel pusher and pull a 28ft enclosed trailer. We need the extra length... Great video

I knew a Native American leather carver/stamping artist who did custom work for Lucchese. A rodeo star ordered a pair of $25,000 boots. When he came to pick them up he was riding a motorcycle. Took off his old boots, put on the new ones and headed off on his motorcycle. 25k riding boots.

If that was KOA next to Campers World we stayed there 40 years ago. Different live band every night at the pavilion. It has changed a allot since then. Tanya Tucker had her bus parked there. You did get the top of the line boots, I have a pair can't remember how old just keep getting them resoled

Good to see Piper make a friend. Looks like a really fun and expensive weekend. You guys deserve to do that and it helps others when you do spend money on USA made items. If you want to see a pair of those boots cut in half to see what is inside check youtube channel "Rose Anvil" he cuts many shoes and boots in half. What is the handle you have on the phone? I looked at the equipment list and did not figure it out. I drop my phone to often that looks like it may be helpful. Hope you all stay safe and healthy.

We enjoyed Nashville, we stayed at Union Station. It's a beautiful train Station, have you seen it? I'm a sucker for trains. The boots and sparkles were nice. The whipped cream going down the road, Priceless!

I stay in a lot of KOA's as they are good for the kiddo so he can play and tire himself out. But boy do I pay a lot to do so, I often get up towards $150 a night. Just the part of the world we live in, everything gets pricey. I am not a big boot wearer (normally just sneakers) but those boots did look good. I hope your rain curse is over, send it all out here so we can have some water. Nashville does look interesting, but the music hall of fame I want to visit is in Ohio.

No you will not go the rest of the trip without rain, it's a Wagner thing. It's not that I wish it on you guys it's just the way it seems to work. At $600 a pair I don't think I'll be buying any Lucchese boots any time soon. Keep the good stuff coming guys.

It did rain😂🤦🏼♀️ Mike's boots were $375 and Lynn's were close to $900 but after tax it was close to 1400. They're expensive but they will LAST! So many people have them for decades and just resole them

We pay whatever the rate is. We do have a KOA membership which gets us a10% discount and earn points to redeem $off future camping. We've only been to 1 thousand trails campground so that membership isn't worth it to us.

We didn't go out to eat during this stay (unless you count ice cream haha) but we will keep that in mind for next time we are in the area! Thank you☺️

We aren't into cities either but Nashville is liked a small town vibe. We just like to visit and get back outside the city haha the boots are amazing and love this new bikini!

I didn't get them to wear everyday but since then I've worn then out 2-3x. Can't take💸 with you! I'm a saver by nature but need to enjoy life with spluges occasionally.

@@WanderingWagners Vaccine for parvovirus is a standard vaccine for dogs. You take care of your babies I am sure they have had parvo vaccine. It spreads from contact with other dogs, so just socializing can spread it do not need a fenced yard to get it.
