I was diagnosed with SLL over 10 years ago and no treatment yet. Doing well. My labs have charged very little and no symptoms. I was diagnosed when removing nodes for breast cancer. The surgeon noted the nodes were odd Texans suspected lymphoma. I’m very grateful for my surgeon and for doing so well 10 plus years now.

I am 58 today. I am battling cll for one year. Currently I am on tablet ibrutinib. I am quite well but one thing is making me anxious enough. My body weight is losing gradually. Please suggest me how to survive and also food supplements.

Hello, we're sorry to hear you have been diagnosed with CLL, and imagine it's likely been a difficult time. Lymphoma affects people individually, and although weight loss can be a symptom of lymphoma, it can also be caused more commonly, by other less serious conditions, therefore, we would suggest talking with your medical team about the weight loss and your concerns. Generally, a well balanced diet is recommended, and this may be something you might consider discussing with your team. 2 1/2 + years feeling generally unwell and wbc/neutrophils low that we know of for over 2 years. I will have four blood tests with wbc in the low to mid 2 range and then a spike to 3.4 and that repeats. Bone marrow biopsy indicates small lymphocyte aggregates and more results from marrow are expected any day. My very first symptoms were I can’t seem to get a decent nights sleep and severe neck pain. I got a new bed and more pillows than I care to admit. I’m so fatigued with some bizarre nerve symptoms as well as hearing loss, blurred vision, head and vocal tremors, dizziness, lower than my normal low blood pressure… I have had hypothyroidism for the last 25 years and I wonder constantly if my thyroid is playing a role in all this. My neurologist can’t find anything definitive based on MRIs and nerve conduction study. This is one of the most frustrating parts of being sick - very few answers and no diagnosis.
