Loved this so much for so many reasons. Great to see Hogan again. Loved it when he said "haven't talked to YOU guys in a bit" gosh that felt like an old friend came home. He's learned and grown so much and yet still has a humble attitude. Buckin I could see the father's concern and pride in your eyes. I gotta be honest I teared up a little watching this. I lost my dad a few short years ago. I was crying thinking about my daydreams I used have, him calling me up "hey son could you give me a hand with something?" And me bringing my boys to see their grampa while I repayed him for all the selfless years of love, help, teaching, and service that he gave me. God what I wouldn't give to do with my dad what you and Hogan just did together. Loved this so much. Looking forward to the next one. And for Timber Titans! Love you all

@stephenmerill4200 , what you said so struck home with me, and my dad, and i am 71 now. I made a statement one time, "If i could just have 5 mins with my dad" i would give an arm. Heard a little voice say "It would never be enough" 5 mins, 5hrs, 5 days, 5 more years NEVER be enough... My dad would call me as well and would bring my 3 boys and daughter, and all would help as best they could.. Thx Stephen.. :)

Buckin and Hoagan, today is my birthday and besides seeing my family today this was the other highlight of my day and seeing how far Hogan has come along is amazing and I have run a lawn business for quite a while and have an 18 and 20 year old sons and to see them take off on their own with everything I've taught them and everything new that they have taught themselves is the best feeling and I can hear that in your voice of how proud of your son you are and that is just an amazing accomplishment and feeling to see a young man thrive and grow so thank you so much for all the great content you are a good man

WOW! Hogan is so humble, bright & well spoken! It's so interesting to hear him explaining what he's doing while he's up in that tree. Climbing is something that's such a small percent of the population ever gets to experience, "so thank you Hogan for taking us along for the climb!". I hope we see more of him on the channel, and YES TO THE PREMIERE, they are so much fun - it's like somebody put a live feed and a regular video in a blender and then topped it with whipped cream and a cherry!😊👍 Looking forward to watching Timber Titans!

I build wooden boats and run a sawmill and this feels like Exactly how I am when my boys do something as good, or better than me, in my shop. It's what we strive for as fathers, frankly., Great Job all around!

I think what Hogan was talking about. It's called a swinging Dutchman. I've never done it, but I've seen it done before. And it does work very, very well in certain situations. The side with the Dutchman Compress all that wood . And then, as it sets on that side, it's swings back around to the side that you needed to go to. From all the holding wood that is left on the other side. It's a great-great technique.
