There is a rather tough question regarding the reasoning behind a piece of fruit and something you eat, and why that would be associated with a transformation of psychology.
The act of eating, especially while hungry or starving, produces a rapid spiritual transformation.

I have a little moral theory that a child becomes a teenager when he/she "eats from the Tree of Knowledge" and loses his/her innocence, but a teenager becomes an adult when he/she matures enough to overcome the lost innocence. Edit: that didn't really have anything to do with the video now that I've watched it, but I still wanted to share lol

@nazzmohh 3 жыл бұрын
No, it's good that you did. In the vast sea of unorganized videos, Jordan mentioned once how the phase after your teenage is when you go out to get an apprenticeship in something you want to practice for the rest of your life (the most popular form of that being going to college, but this phase historically predates the existence of college) And then, the struggle after the apprenticeship ends is trying to "reconnect with the child you lost in the process".

That's deep man! But I lost my innocence in little pieces here and there throughout my late childhood and adolescence and it was only fully lost by the time I was 17. But I obviously didn't become a teenager at 17 so if it's the first time I lost my innocence then I guess it would have to be when I was like 10 years old. And maturing enough overcome that lost innocence would've probably happened somewhere in my early 20s.

The fruit represents assimilation, when we eat something that was outside ourselves becomes part of ourselves. When it comes to the knowledge of good and evil, eating the fruit meant Adam and Eve assimilated the concept of duality, the way they saw the world went from oneness to illusion/duality where humanity fell from a state of harmonious oneness with their environment to likes/dislikes and accordingly good/evil. Similar to the stage we go through from early childhood to puberty and adulthood, as we are taught more about the world we start to see good/evil based on how we are shaped and conditioned instead of experiencing the world just as it is.

Knowledge is what causes separation and sin. We try to dissect everything in order to feel like we have control and we try to define everything into good and evil which is all subjective with no truth to it whatsoever. Everything is so simple yet we complicate it and turn it into a shit show

Here's my take on the story: The Tree of Knowledge is not called the Tree of Death, even though God told them that they will die. But why? Well, it's because God gave them a choice: The choice to follow God's way of life or to follow their own. How do you follow your own way of life? You redefine good and evil for yourself. Sounds a bit like postmodernism... Therefore, That's why nowadays people are calling evil good and good evil.

No wonder the fruit of the tree was offered to Eve; Adam probably preferred high protein foods.

Dear Jordan, despite all the knowledge you acquired through life it seems to me you returned somewhere into your past. The fact that you haven’t found what you were looking for all this years, does not mean you should inally accept things you started with. It just mean you have finally given up to search for the truth as you felt the directions you could take have dried out. There are many paths you haven’t taken yet honorable man. The question is just if you are still able to think out of the box. If you are, do not waste your power to explain things that aren’t there. We need you for the unique way of seeing things. And many things needs to be seen from a different perspective as you have accomplished so many times successfully in my eyes. (sorry for my poor expressions, english is my theird language)

All around the ancient world people worshipped serpents as keepers of Sacred Knowledge. The tradition is present in several ancient cultures, particularly in religion and mythology, where snakes were seen as the holders of knowledge, strength, and renewal. For example, the Caduceus, symbol of God Ningishzida, on the libation vase of Sumerian ruler Gudea, circa 2100 BCE. When one considers that many of these religions around the world, including some of those that surrounded the ancient Israelites, also in fact use these kinds of hallucinogenic drugs in order to discern “divine secrets” and “magical revelations” from the spirit world, it seems to me that Adam and Eve’s encounter bears a striking similarity to these same pagan drug-induced experiences. It is interesting that the Hebrews turned this on its head. In other words, our primal parents seemed to have their eyes opened to some type of horrifying and ungodly thoughts, thoughts that were so terribly evil that they felt they had to hide from God after their encounter with this supposed mystical revelation which the serpent exposed them to. It is also is interesting to note that the word for sorcery in the Scriptures is sometime distinguished by the word pharmacia… “At the end of times the merchants of the word will deceive the nations of the world through their Pharmacia.” (sorcery) The Book of the Apocalypse 18:23

The Bible explains that God purposely made the Law as a mirror to show us that we all need His salvation and help. Also, in my opinion, He knew Adam and Eve would eat the fruit, have their eyes open, and be like God. Therefore, He just wanted Satan to think it was his idea, and that he had won Earth. He even let's Satan be the God of this planet until Jesus takes it back, After the Great Tribulation. So yes, it was all God's plan for us to be considered all equally sinful so that we All realize we need His salvation. That way people who don't love Him will not be saved. So instead of getting mad at His plan, appreciate the genius of His plan, and humble yourselves before it is too late. God usually lets the devil think he is winning as apart of His strategy, just like when Jesus died on the Cross. Satan thought he had won again, just like he did in the Garden. God's ultimate plan is for us to be saved and be CO HEIRS WITH JESUS!!!! Blessed with every heavenly blessing. How can we be CO HEIRS with God Himself, without knowing the difference between Good and Evil? How can we relate to Jesus without being partakers of His suffering? How can we empathize with God over how He has been treated, if we are never mistreated? How can we understand betrayal. if we have never been betrayed? How can we know what heartbreak is, if we have never loved and had a broken heart? God has the same feelings He created us with, He was the first to be betrayed and broken hearted. He was the first parent to watch His children walk away. One third of the angels followed after Satan and his lies, and God is making sure that doesnt happen again in the PERFECT future that He has planned for us in AWESOME detail. He doesn't care that you aren't perfect. He just wants people to be humble enough to admit it, apologize, and accept God the Son, Jesus/Yeshua, as your savior. He took responsibility by paying the price for our sins. He bought us back from the god of this Earth (Satan) at the price of His life. He didn't come as a king living is luxury. He humbled Himself. He didn't have a wife, family, career, or any of the things we hold dear. He didn't even really want to make friends. He was here to save us. He is willing to save anyone if they will just accept HIM. I know His plan seems strange to us as humans, but it was the best way to save as many people as possible while letting the devil thinks he's winning. I hope this makes sense and helps someone that is confused and looking for answers. All who call upon the Name of Jesus will be saved. Much Love Beth

The biblical "Tree of Life" is the tree that produces fruit for physical sustenance (fruit, vegetables, nuts...). The biblical "Tree of Knowledge" is the tree that produces fruit for spiritual sustenance (cannabis, Banisteriopsis caapi/Psychotria viridis - DMT, Opium poppy, Salvia Divinorum, Iboga, Acacia...). "When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it" - Genesis 3:6 Spiritually speaking (gender aside), matriarchal culture begins with a fundamental understanding of the cyclical nature of reality (God). Represented by the snake in many creation myths, the living cycle has a trinity of a beginning (head), a middle and end (tail). As above so below, the sexes were created in the image of God's cyclical nature where Mother is the head and opening to all beginnings and Father holds the tail to all endings (through which the sowing of seeds allow for the next great matriarchal rebirth).The joining of the two (symbolized by the Ouroborus or the marriage ring) is the sacred union needed in assuring the creation and continuation of new life cycles. To speak of the present day God as "Our Father" is simply an admission to our collective positioning within the bigger cycle. As all mothers have direct experience with the creator quality of birthing, so is the direct experience of rebirthing the divinity within (baptism) belong to that which is spiritually matriarchal. (John 3, verse 3-8). Sekhmet statues (ancient Egyptian) carry most of their weight in symbolic memory of what was a mother culture dedicated to the direct experience of baptism. As the leg shaped hairlocks extend from maternal breasts to the womb of rebirth, the lioness's head proportions are such that they highlight the bust of a second animal figure. The Lioness's ears as eyes and eyes as nose (nostrils) brings to life the figure of a reptile. 'Neath the halo headress of the solar egg, the lioness's egg fertilization process being internal (Set) and the reptile's egg fertilization process being external (Setting), such being key components to the safety of entering the trans-egoic or "born again" state. The life threatening fear associated with the predatory nature of a lion and/or crocodile encounter are reflective of the intense ego death experiences associated with the transpersonal awakening process. In spiritually matriarchal times, illumination could be seen as wearing the false beard (ancient Egyptian funerary "ego" death mask) as the high state of cyclical self knowing; high awareness of both our upper matriarchal half and our lower (later) patriarchal half (compared with a mini lower body replica, an "as above so below" tail end beard extension); in full recognition of her civilizational Underworld; her inevitable cyclical destiny. The male pharaoh wears his beard tapered in reverse, indicating a pointing upwards towards the patriarchal head, divine representative of God's tail end cycle. Mary's anointing and wiping of Jesus's feet with her hair can then be seen as "Head to tail" (toe) imagery as she descends her matriarchal head to his patriarchal feet, thus reenacting the high understanding of the divine cyclical process. (John 12, verse 3) To carry the Ankh (now the female symbol ♀️) was perhaps to symbolically carry that upper and lower understanding. As the upper matriarchal womb symbolised the fertile birthing of civilization, below, the now Christian cross is carried to place emphasis on the lower (later) "End Times" Father principle of the great cycle. Lord Ganesha, the elephant headed Hindu diety, displays a cyclical head to trunk symbolism and points to the Mother head of his matriarchal elephant society. Ganesha (like the elephant) wears God's cyclical nature on his face. A whole temple was dedicated to Hathor (ancient Egyptian diety), who is the matriarchal "Uterus" personified. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/gJadY917uKuqe2Q.html "See all women as mothers, serve them as your mother. when you see the entire world as the mother, the ego falls away. See everything as Mother and you will know God." - Neem Karoli Baba "My son, keep thy father's commandment and forsake not the law of thy mother" - Proverbs 6 : 20

What the hell? Are we gonna gloss over the fact that having two trees, one with life and one with knowledge is extremely damning? The whole of christianity is founded on the fact that Adam and Eve sinned and that jesus came to die for the sin so we should believe his resurrection otherwise we go to hell. So if the tree is not really a tree, do we know how Adam and Eve sinned? Is christianity really standing on the fact that we dont actually know how Adam and Eve sinned? More over, wasn't Adam immortal when he was created? So why was there a tree of life? Why did god say that if adam eats of the tree of life, he would live forever? This myth is ridiculous.

Such a silly plot in a nonsense book, it's honestly laughable. Imagine the look on the god's face when he constantly keeps stuffing up! So this god is bored silly and one day 'he' builds himself a garden. Just for the laughs he 'creates' two people who don't have any knowledge. That is the job of the tree, to hold the knowledge within its fruit. Has science ever worked out how knowledge is held in the medium of fruit? It was never used before or afterwards as plot interest. Actually thinking about it the character of Jesus had a hissy fit one day cursing a fig tree that was out of season. Maybe the god should stay away from fruit, seems like it's not his thing. Also maybe some dad issues and anger management? Why could the god, who knows everything, have put all the knowledge he didn't want them to have in say an indigestible rock? So even if it was swallowed and pooped out a million times the knowledge would stay locked up. The problem of original sin is solved. I'm getting away from myself. Next, I'll be thinking just don't invent the silly tree or put the tree on Venus. The tree really did not need to be there in the garden, looking tasty good, with people who did not have the knowledge to understand the instruction of don't eat it. It's like telling a toddler don't play with a sharp kitchen knife. As a responsible parent, you stay with your child and put the sharp knife away, out of reach. We do this as people and clearly are not on the same scale of a god's intelligence, so why did god just wander off? Next, maybe god should just not create a serpent. Or 'zap' it away. Come on you all-powerful god, zap the dam serpent to a small pile of ash, problem solved. Or build an electric serpent fence around the garden. Sit with your new 'babies' and watch and talk to them, explain stuff to them, as a good parent does. These were new creations and left alone, what was this god doing, did he go fishing? Maybe he went to watch some newly created horse racing. Kicked some stones on the beach? So the god comes back knowing 'everything' but not knowing so asks 'what's with the clothes'. Feels like the god is a bit strange to me, upset they now have clothes on!! Does the god not take any responsibility for his easily accessible, edible and instantly working (with one bite) tasty knowledge fruit? Just think he tells people (that don't have the knowledge, come on keep up) not to eat from that tree. You know the one they must not eat from but is sat right next to them for some plot twist. Is anyone seeing a plot hole here? So what does god do, rub it all out and start again super easy and with minimal suffering? Nope (spoiler he tries that later with the flood and that also failed) this plot of that original sin is needed for the Jesus character later. You see instead of sacrificing animals to gods this god likes some human sacrifice. A nice bit of blood magic dashed about for that tree sin at the start of with. Looks to me like god deliberately created sin, evil and the devil to give himself and his son a job to do. Really the writers were from the Bronze Age and can't you tell it with such a terrible garbage plot. It's sloppy and had so many issues. If that is the thinking of a being that created trillions of planets, stars and Ken Ham from nothing then maybe it should have eaten from the tree itself. It could have corrected slavery and the instruction to marry your rapist with the all-new Bible 2.0. OK do tell me what you guys think, where am I going wrong. Don't be shy. Alice
