I have one, had it for a year. Its seen all 4 seasons in ohio. 6' 250lbs guy here. all is good but the seat post spins. Maxxis pace tires, renthal 40 mm high rise handle bar and 0mm stem. I hit 32 mph going down hill, great jumps and wheelies . Im not happy about the seat post. I wish their was a recall on the seat post...... The bike gave me abilities that i have never expected to be capable of.

I was always under the impression hardtails were always prefered due to better handling but I did take off 15 years from biking just recently got back into it things have changed lol

Looking to get my first mtb this summer in attempt to pick up a new hobby. A nice hardtail is in my budget, lots of little trails on Long Island. Going to mountain creek Saturday too, is riding hard tails on downhill parks that big of a deal?

Aparently the Laufey is harder to bunnyhop and manual etc... but the roscoe is less stable at higher speed
