Part 2 of the CAPE WRATH Trail, heading from Cona Glen northbound. In this stage, I get eaten alive by midges, head into Glenfinnan under the famous Viaduct, pop in at Corryhully Bothy and pitch my tent as the weather changes...
Such beautiful views passing these remote sections of the Scottish Highlands, even got to see some red deer on my travels.
Thank you so much everyone for your support and leaving such lovely comments :) Take care!

Don't want to get caught in a live firing range. Make a sign that says Midges are prohibited here. Ha Ha! You have a great sense of humor. Good choice on not camping near the river as most tents don't float well. And food is important :)) Enjoyed part 2 and looking forward to part 3. Thanks for sharing this adventure and have a wonderful day.

Never stayed at Corryhully or a'Chuil but I know so much of the route in this video, without even knowing there was a Cape Wrath Trail until I saw your first video. Bothies usually have a visitor book just like a B&B and I have been a bit of a devil with these in the past. Once I fabricated a story about a party at a bothy and the visitors were Gordon Brown, Muriel Gray, Cameron MacNeish and Gordon Ramsay. All of them, well the first three anyway, are keen hillwalkers and could quite possibly have stayed there, but all of them at the same place ... They would have eaten well! I had wondered where Callop was, and then you pointed to it on your map. I know the Scottish fiddle player Iain MacFarlane, whose parents run the hotel at Glenfinnan. Callop is just down the road and Iain wrote a tune called Gallop to Callop, so I expect it is about one of his friends.

Thanks for the interesting video! Looking, I understood why a spoon of titanium with a long handle is needed. It is required that there is a sublimated food directly from the package. In our area rarely, who uses sublimated food. Only climbers during climbing. As a rule, we prepare rice, buckwheat and soups in the hike. Sometimes we use instant noodles. But in the cold day the soup is best. It does not cool so quickly outdoors.
