I'm watching and thinking, "Ok, Forest is climbing this cliff to the summit AND he also has the amazing skills to film it so beautifully simultaneously!" I've said it before, every video he releases is just such a gift.

Foresty, I hope I speak for everyone when I say you are one awesome dude. Your videos are comforting. Your voice, your mannerisms, the lessons you impart (purposely or not, it happens) are much appreciated. You're my favorite part of youtube.

Wow! Those waterfalls were gorgeous. Lovely scenery, although watching you climb up that last section to the top was scary. The shots of the bears were epic. We thought of you today when we took a cable car up to the top of the local peak - beautiful, but we thought of you climbing it when we saw other brave souls doing it. Also: in Innsbruck this week is an international mountain bike race of some sort - saw many "fat tire bikes" like yours all around where we are staying -- and also saw several adorable Jack Russell Terriers so you were on our mind today. :) Take more bear spray next time. Foresty has a wonderful record for finding things he dropped or lost. It must have something to do with paying attention, and the keen eyesight you get from being in the forest a lot.

Rocko chasing the snow makes me smile so much. What an epic journey this was. That summit is likely going to be Rocko as the only dog ascent.

Hey Forresty! Been a couple videos since I commented, but I've watched em all with great appreciation for what you do. Hope your keeping away from the smoke, but that seems to be getting harder for everybody here in Canada. We're getting it in Kingston! Anyways, great job capturing your travels for us all. A couple of highlights for me....the trekking pole bit was good, immediately made up a little story in my mind about a line trekking pole moving from person to person helping them when they need it...kinda like "the littlest hobo" lol, you might be a bit young for that reference. Also, bout the bear spray, I'm right there with ya when it comes to things like that. My own worst enemy. Glad you shared it though, now we all know,we aren't the only ones have stupid stuff happen to us . Take Care out there Forresty Forrest!

I just came to say that you’re not stupid and most of us are our own worst enemies. My gosh, in my book your a superhero.

A dog like Rocko is a treasure. All dogs are wonderful to me but that little brings much needed smiles to my face. She is so bright and beautiful. I rescued a street dog named Jack who could be her brother. Jack suffered horribly with skin issues. The day I brought him home from the shelter was his death day. He hid under his bed would wrap himself in blankets and growl if you touched him. He didnt know how to relieve himself on grass or dirt he would poo as he walked. But the day I went to kennel him he ran up front and jumped in the seat next to me. He knew he was coming home. After many specialized vet trips when we took all 4 of our rescue dogs on a 3 hour drive to his dr. He slowly came out of his need to always hide. He would try to pull me out of the ocean trying to save me. He would jump in my pool to save me. He was such an awesome dog we took him and his dog siblings all the way to Bellingham Wa from mid Ca. He was a trooper. His dr said he was one of the most amazing dogs she had ever seen. Even though he had open running itchy sores all over he was never grumpy or snappy. Over time with care he no longer stank or was bleeding and he no longer wrapped himself in a blanket or hiding in the closet. We had him for 2.5 precious years and he taught others and us about "the journey". Jack ascended his highest mountain with us, the joy of being truly loved and cared for. 😢😅

Just amazed how you can cross a fast moving stream with a dog in one arm and a gopro stick in another. You make it look effortless. And how you can climb the tops of those mountains with a dog strapped on your front. Just amazes me.

This is AWESOME! growing up in the Rocky Mountains, i had a West Highland White Terrier who i would bring with me on all my adventures. People were always surprised when he'd hike 14ers with me because usually people expect to see a big dog on the trail! Little dogs are so underrated with their ability and joy in being the perfectly sized adventure dog. Thank you for this video... it reminds me of all the times i had with my little adventure terrier ❤

The trails are kept in good shape by the hunting guide-outfitter in Findley creek. The cabins are the outfitters also. I've been in there on horseback a few times to work on the trails. It's a lovely area for sure !

So I am bouncing around Google maps and put Mount Findley in the search bar and up pops Rocko standing on the top looking like king puppy. Stick with her, she is bound for fame.
