It’s obviously disappointing that the stitches have failed, but I wouldn’t call this a premium priced pillow. If it’s comfortable and stays inflated, I’d accept having to put a few stitches in the cover every 12 months rather than spending 3 or 4 times as much on a true premium pillow. Just ordered one after watching this review 👍🏼 Thanks for sharing

Thanks Mark, sorry I forgot to answer..must be an age thing 😊 I’ve just bought a new one from trekology, the largest one they’ve made, so I can’t have been put off that much 😂

I brought this after having the standard one as well. Definitely prefer the deluxe one and find it much more comfy and like the cover as you can take it off to wash. Think I got it following you mentioning it a while back.

I have just had a weekend camping using the standard Aluft pillow and mat and as you say very comfortable, hope they last. Just been to the Cragg Hill Farm at Horton in Ribblesdale, If you have time check it out, £10 a night, thanks for sharing. Looking forward to your camping video.

I have popped into that site to have a look in passing, one for a future visit! Yes, the standard one is slightly larger as well…been a bit busy recently but must start editing this week 😂

Thanks for the follow-up on your initial review. I want a pillow that you can attach to your sleeping pad but have not decided yet to go for the regular or the deluxe. If you anyhow have the hood of your sleeping bag between yourself and the pillow I would assume it gets somewhat more comfortable. What is your view on how much additional comfort you get from the deluxe va the regular?

I find them both to be good, the Delux has a bit more padding but not that much, the regular is slightly larger which if you toss and turn is better…if I were to have to choose I’d probably pitch the standard. However I’ve just bought a Decathlon Forclaz Trek Pillow and used it over last couple of nights wild camping…and have to say it’s excellent, just the right inflated size, small pack, removable sleeve and has a thicker padded area than the Trekology Delux. On the basis of first use this is now my default pillow, it’s that comfortable! Cost £14.99 and has 2 year warranty, but time will tell on durability. Hope that all helps, regards Andrew

Interesting. I have the mattress and std pillow, comfy and so far ok; having said that I've killed every inflatable mattress I've ever had, don't think any last too long without losing air or maybe it's me ;-) Whilst on; just a bit of fun. The new Transalp "should" make an appearance at EICMA next week; bet you feel the urge to swap you CB500x.. I'll be likely wanting one too btw. Atb.

I really do like their products but sometimes it’s frustrating, I agree…air beds are that way! Well, you have read my mind on the new Transalp, I’m itching to see it in the flesh, engine sounds like it will be awesome for the size and looks like they’ve really thought seriously about this bike. I think I might have already talked myself into getting one 😂
