My Tresanti had this EXACT problem. I just had a NEW desk delivered from Amazon to replace the Tresanti. Of course I get it and the assembly time says 2 hours. I then decided to look for a DIY fix - Daneal, in 90 seconds, you just saved me $300 and 2 hours of my life! Amazon returns, here I come!!!

The troubleshooting section to get the "top" height recalibrated, actually worked, unlike Tresanti's own "reset" video. Thanks dude!

This desk is phenomenal. I got mine at a consignment store and it was preset. A couple of weeks into using it, the H3 and H4 presets started acting wrong (my kids might have messed around with the desk) and I guessed the desk had malfunctioned... until I saw your video. I simply reset the H3&H4 heights, now to my "own" preferences. Thanks to you, I am once again balling.

Outstanding! I did have a few challenges in the beginning though. After following the instructions, I could not get the desk to move at all. I listen to the tutorial eight times! I was determined to make it work. I did not want to believe that I purchased a broken model. There are two similar plugs under the desk. In a desperate attempt, I unplugged the other one, which did nothing, but then it just started up. Thank goodness. I am so happy that I had a tutorial to help me out. Can’t wait to get started on my work.

THIS DESK IS EXTREMELY UNRELIABLE!!! I bought it 3.5 years ago from Costco. It never worked right. It's always getting stuck. So I left it stuck in the down position. Then the other day I was thinking about replacing it. I've been avoiding that because the desk is overbuilt and very heavy. It's going to take a lot of time to replace. But, the other day, just out of curiosity, I hit the buttons and it worked. It worked great. I tested it up and down and up and down -- no issues. So today I raised it up to H3 (not the top) and now it's stuck there. Unplugging and plugging in cables doesn't work. The problem he mentions in this video is just one of the problems. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS DESK! IT'S MORE TROUBLE THAN IT'S WORTH.

My desk didn't lock. So I looked underneath and there is a white clip that wasn't pushed in all the way. When I pushed it, it snapped in place and now it locks. Nice!

You wrote a great review. I own the Tresanti desk from Costco, but I lost my owners guide & couldn't remember how to "lock" the desk at one position or how to set the memory at one specific position. You, Daniel, explained both in your review. THANK YOU! It is a great desk. I am so glad that I purchased it from COSTCO!!

That troubleshooting tip was MONEY!! I had this exact problem that randomly occurred after months of use.

THANK YOU! I was so scared I accidentally messed up the electronics because I had set a magnet on the control area and was freaking out that my desk wouldn't work anymore. This trick fixed the issue! WHEW!

I really appreciated this video. My husband got me one for Christmas and we couldn't figure out how to clear the code. You also helped me not be annoyed about the purchase because I didn't want anything bulky and I don't like electronics like this because they are unusable when they go on the fritz. I had a power failure and my desk height preset buttons were reset. Two buttons were set to bottom and the other two were set to top. I lost the booklet and thought it was toast. I ran into your video and you helped me reset the presets. 💥Thank you‼️‼️

Thanks for making this video. You saved me today. I had the issues with being stuck going up and down about half an inch or less. You were the first video I clicked on Utube! What luck! I just had to tweak it a little to Reset to find top and bottom. I had to disconnect that stereo wire then unplug the power cord from the wall for a few seconds and then plug it back in. Then I could get the desk to the Top and plug in the stereo wire. Works great!!! Thanks again. 👍🙏

I actually had a different error, it was showing the error code E3, which, after a bit of documentation, showed that it means that "there's too much weight on the table" (which was weird, because there was nothing on it). However, your steps still worked; I unplugged the "headphone jack", and then I could adjust the height. Thank you very much!

So after leaving it unplugged for an hour and then unplugging the headphone jack before plugging it back into the wall, I was finally able to raise it to the top. However, from that point, I can only lower it. As soon as I try to raise it again I get the same E3 error have to go through the process above again. I'm taking it back to Costco this weekend and hope they still have one left to exchange it for. I really like the desk and would love to get a working one.

Thanks! I have the 2020 model and wasn't certain how to save custom height settings. Everything is pretty much exactly the same with the exception of the new model missing H4 and the 3rd USB outlet, but gained a rubbery dust magnet Qi charger.

I wish that was my problem. Mine just up and decided to lose power to USBs and cannot be raised. E3 warning. I have the newer version.

I got mine 3 years ago and Bebe had a problem until now I have watched different videos and they all show me to do the same thing but it’s still not working properly

I just bought this table. It gives me E4 error if I try to press up. I tried the method you showed in the video and it didn't work. I also tried unplugging everything for 10 minutes. Plugged it back and still showed the same error. Do you know the solution?
